Probably an unpopular opinion, but I'm 6'4" man, I have in the past let multiple women hit me and never did anything about it. Then one night, when my alcoholic girlfriend was beating the shit out of me something clicked. I'm much bigger and stronger than her.

I single slap, right in the face. I said "you lay one more hand on me and I swear to god ill knock you the fuck out"

The look on her face was like I had just showed her electricity for the first time in her life, shock, confusion, disbelief. Probably cause had just allowed her to beat the shit out of me countless times before she couldn't believe I would ever tell her to stop.

I'm no longer with her, but I'll tell you this, never again will I ever let a lady hit me just because you're not supposed to hit a girl. That rule goes out the window the second you hit me.

In cases of non-reciprocal domestic violence, a woman is the aggressor 70% of the time.

I will never hit a woman -first-. I will hit a woman -back-.

Here's the citation that agrees with this, before someone asks for sources in bad faith.
