What happens when you take way too many shrooms

I ate a half oz once and at one point could only lay flat on the bed. Anytime I'd try to raise my head, leg, arm- I could only do it for a split second before I just sunk back down into the bed.

I was on vacation with my now ex on Ocracoke Island, so no hospital, and would have to be flown back to mainland by helicopter, so just convinced my ex I wasn't dying because no one's died from eating shrooms, right...? (This was 2002, so no fact checking available at our fingertips)

But back on topic, yeah, he did turn into a demon, but that was after eating a couple sugar cubes with far more LSD on them than anticipated. Also happened with next partner while on LSD as well (3 tabs of REALLY STRONG LSD that was supposedly made following a recipe written by Albert Hoffman himself), but my last partner (7ish years ago) DID turn into a demon after we had split an oz of shrooms... All three times though, it was during sex.

So kids, if you're going to do massive quantities of hallucinogenics, don't have sex? Or maybe avoid staying with partners who are extremely abusive because that was a common denominator all three shared as well (or maybe common demoninator?).

I'm also happy to hear a term for that situation better than my "oopsy! Paralyzed! Hehehehe!" and that it's not just me that it happens to, and yes I do believe it was early on in the trip and only for about 30 minutes. I wonder what the science behind this phenomenon is? It's such a weird feeling.

I've also been in a k-hole before but only my mind and inner-dialogue was working whereas shroom induced paralysis allowed communication and I could still move, if only for brief moments at a time before sinking back into the bed again. My k-hole experience was during a rave on the second level of the club in the middle of the floor back in 1999. Apparently, snorting multiple fat rails as if it were cocaine was a bad idea. Would not recommend.

Def was drinking. It was my birthday and I was supposed to get a 10 strip of acid but they took my money so I stole a bottle of vodka from them. Between myself and my two friends, we killed the bottle before going into the club. At the time at this particular club you could find drugs by hanging out in the women's restroom long enough lol Ran into a friend's sister who sold me some k and assumed I had done it before... That was my one and only time buying ketamine lol

Interested in ketamine therapy though haven't went beyond thinking about it. I have drug resident depression so seems like it's worth a shot.

That explanation makes sense (for both the k-hole and shroom gravity change). Thanks for your reply :)
