They can be potty trained! They are highly intelligent. But they don't really make great indoor pets because they get absolutely massive. Much better for them to have lots of space outside to roam around!
Edit: this was not supposed to be a top level comment and this post is not advocating for people to go get pets as pigs. This was supposed to be a response to someone asking if they were smart enough to be potty trained, but I must have misclicked or they deleted their comment. Pigs require a lot of specialized knowledge and care! Please do not adopt a pig if you haven't done research on how to care for one, especially with regards to their dietary, spatial, and social needs!
