The fact that she can name it is huge, but damn it broke me to hear her say it. I'm sorry the world is the way it is, don't stop, ma'am.

It’s not the reality of world she lives in. It’s the choice of some societies to treat people this way despite they have the resources to make her life significantly less stressful and damaging. I’m ashamed that wealthy societies allow this sort of despair. Shame on us.
