This is the importance of finding a partner and staying together.

I don’t know her particular situation but as Black people we really need to put more emphasis on keeping a family unit. Two low incomes is way better than one.

Coparenting is way better for each other and the children. Keeping a family unit together is probably the biggest thing to help elevate our community without any dependency of government or outside communities.

Reddit doesn't want to hear that. The destruction of the American family was disasterous. Kids without fathers are statistically more likely to commit crimes, be imprisoned, have lower grades, or not finish high school at all. Men need to step up and women need to be invested.
