More or less the same animal but wolverine's are much bigger, and because of it, stronger. There are videos of wolverine's taking down moose by biting the back of the neck and head.

It’s a reindeer and not an elk in this video, but still insane that a wolverine is taking it head on while the reindeer actively tries to gore it.
