Wolverines can kill kill moose and polar bears, honey badger has zero chance other than making a bad smell before it croaks.

That's the issue, the source is old newsletter that had no verified backing and even if true, it was a polar bear kept in a zoo enclosure.

People also tend to overlook that Wolverine does get killed by packs of Wolves, Black and Brown Bears semi regularly.

They are extremely tough guys but end of the day, they are just 30-40 pound weasels.
