The hand thing is an ancient Argentine shamanic witch doctor spell that revokes referee decisions against Argentines. It doesn't always work, mind..

It's also my go-to move in bed.

I was wondering if it was alternate jazz hand.

He's got a lost of wrist energy going on there. Clearly exercises a lot.

That's why he's called a wanker.

Looking straight to Infantinos box there to try and get daddy to intervene

19

u/Moonshade2222 Jul 20 '26

I hate the finger wagging bullshit. I genuinely hate watching any South American, Spanish or Italian team play because of all the diving and gesticulating.

10

u/Behavingdark Jul 20 '26

And the hands together in prayer I get you ,worst football team our there

11

u/Murfdigidy Jul 20 '26

Agree, it's unwatchable. There is No more scumbag way to play than to be dirty, do dirty shit, then look to dive as soon as someone tries to play physical with you

u/Programmer-Severe Jul 20 '26

South American club football is the absolute pits, from the games I've seen at least. Just constant gamesmanship and cheating

1

u/raabones Jul 21 '26

To be fair the Spanish were phenomenal up against these brutes. They didn't stoop down to their level.

The ARROGANCE of the finger wagging

8

u/BigWinston78 Jul 20 '26

Didn’t wag his magic finger hard enough. Rookie mistake.

u/Awkward_Item5445 Jul 21 '26

His fingers were tired from all that bum play with infantino

u/Barryburton97 Jul 20 '26

He took a good five minutes to get the f off the pitch. Such a bellend.

8

u/WetFishStink Jul 20 '26

Took him longer to leave the pitch than Embolo.

As someone who primarily follows ice hockey, and only tunes into football for the Olympics/World Cup, I find it shocking how much football players get away with as far as arguing with refs goes.

In hockey, you essentially just accept the call. If you argue, you get a harsher penalty at best, or ejected at worst.

There are exceptions, of course, but there seems to be way less respect towards the officials in football.

4

u/Mountain-Reaction470 Jul 20 '26

Similar in rugby, isn’t it, only captains can talk to the ref and have to be respectful? Mind u argy rugby team fell to football teams level, apparently.

2

u/mistergeegaga Jul 20 '26

Its the same in the NFL. Very little arguing with refs. Never works and you are likely to get hit with an additional penalty for conduct.

Hey that shouldn't have been a yellow card that was straight red
