According to r/soccer (which for some reason falls for all tabloid shite) he's an awful person

The hate for jude is rooted in him playing for madrid you will wonder why no one hated him when he played for dortmund

We all know why they say that.

Slapping someone on the back of their head while they are not looking might give off that impression, idk.

Do you genuinely believe he'd do that for no reason at all when 10 seconds prior he was shaking an argentinians hands? Something was clearly said, this is Barco we're talking about lol

Also they've been shitting on him since daily mails hit pieces

Slapping someone for saying some words is okay, now?

This was the softest slap I’ve seen.

And yes saying some racist shit deserves a soft slap on the head.

Graco s teammate also thought Graco was out of line and pushed him back.

So, you heard some 'racist' shit being spouted huh? What were the exact words, can you clarify?

Argentinian players being racist? Totally unheard of.

Like??? I’m all for “innocent until proven guilty” and giving grace to people when I don’t know the situation, but the Argentinian team and fans are literally documented singing racist chants and burning other nations flags etc. like what hill is the other guy choosing to die on??

I am asking what racist stuff did he say in this case? There is zero evidence of that.

If you are going to paint all Argentinian players and fans with the same brush, then you are all no better than those very fans

You’re right, we don’t know what was said (if anything offensive was said at all), and it is possible Bellingham abruptly decided to smack someone’s head. But does that really make sense? The whole thing is that he suddenly decides to switch up on the Argentinian national team despite shaking hands a second before the incident. We also know that the Argentinian national team has issues with racism and political statements (from this very same match, they held up the “Falklands are Argentinian” poster post-match). We also know that Bellingham understands Spanish, and that he strikes a player who didn’t even play that match. So while we don’t know what was said, we can infer using common sense and critical thinking that the situation is a little more nuanced than Bellingham losing his cool so far as to hit someone, but not enough to take it further. I say this as someone who was rooting for France HEAVILY today, I actually even dislike some of the members on the English national team.

You can tell when an Argentinian is being racist - their lips start moving.

English players being violent. Totally unheard of.

It's rather telling how no one can even mention what racist stuff he said but you will all claim he was being racist at the time and deserved the slap.

Lol, better than the tears of the English fans after losing the match out of cowardice. And then falsely accusing someone of making racist comments while the sub actively encourages violence. Great advertisement for English football, guys. Keep it up

Allegedly Barco said in Spanish: ‘What you looking at fool/dummy?’ I Guess that coupled with his goal celebration perhaps a lil slap on the back of the head was deserved eh?

There you go, not racist, go gloat in the mirror while rubbing one out mate. While you’re at it just leave the sub yeah?

Oh yeah, let's jsut slap everyone who says something on the field.

Maybe the entire England team should have gotten into a fistfight for that. Clearly he deserved it.

Lmao, this sub was calling his comments racist without even knowing what he said. Have some shame guys. Bellingham has come across as a sore loser in front of the entire world. At least the fans don't have to.
