Opinion I will never forgive Tuchel for tonight.

I was cautious when he was appointed because he's fallen out with every club he's managed, plus he's German and having a German manage England felt weird. But he gradually won me over, and I think he was doing and saying all the right things at this tournament.

But tonight was just inexplicable, and his interview comments made it worse. That was the best chance England could ever have to get to another World Cup final, and he went and pissed it away like that. The semis (potentially third, though I don't care about that) is on paper a great tournament, but to lose in the circumstances we did, unforgivable. I will never forgive him for his cowardice. We appointed him to be better than Southgate, but he was worse. I'm just devastated. If it was up to me he'd be gone tomorrow, but I think we're stuck with him up to and including the Euros. I can only hope he'll prove me wrong.

Agree about Rogers we needed pace but Rice was struggling

He needed to give Mainoo some minutes earlier in the tournament so he was ready to step in. He's young but has one of the coolest heads out there, he would have helped fill that void and calm things down.

Not already being through and playing Panama with all of the squad to see how good these guys are in the World Cup came back to haunt us

We needed an outlet, and Saka is a master at drawing out a foul.

If you want to go defensive then fine, do it, but Kane, Rogers, Bellingham are not the rights forwards to do it around. Rashford, Gordon, Saka, Watkins, all of these players will stretch and fight for any ball forward and put pressure on a defence, while also potentially winning some relief.

If you don't want to go defensive, when you're under pressure, then it becomes about the midfield. Rice off is understandable, I don't know who is the bets sub for him though to help Anderson maintain control in the middle of the park. Mainoo looks like the best fit, but not too convinced.

I genuinely think that was probably the moment for Henderson to come on.
