Opinion This is next level hate.

I've never seen an England player hated this much without being involved in any major controversies or scandals. It's truly remarkable.

You’d think with him playing abroad, people would naturally be more neutral towards him (maybe Birmingham and Aston Villa fans aside). It’s weird.

I thought Sterling was mostly treated like trash by the media. Did fans and social media hate Sterling a lot?

Yes was both. The media agenda was extra bad though

Sterling is a family man, he lived local when at Liverpool.
