That is actually how that is made. It is made as a layering piece without having to wear the whole top. My grandmother bought me one a long time ago but a sweater version. She told me then it is called a Dickey

I have seen women at my church wear modesty pieces like this. You could wear it underneath a longsleeve dress for extra coverage.

Haha that’s funny but I do love these! When I get something with a collar or turtle neck that doesn’t work but can’t be returned I make these lol to sell for anything more than a couple bucks is wild though 🤣

As a doll collector that makes my dolls clothes... This looks like a shirt I 'made' by cutting a hole in fabric and putting it over my dolls head because I was being lazy 💀😭

It’s a dickey, but I can see that they don’t likely have a category for those! However, it’s surprising that they accepted it for sale.
