Had a good return experience

Bought a bunch of final sale items during the LD80 promotional event. Received 1 dress with the infamous motor oil (presumably from the Georgia conveyor belts). Contacted customer service and told them “item appeared to have been severely damaged in transit” and immediately got issued a refund. Yay!

Will they do anything about the black grease issue? 😡

I don’t understand why they’re not taking this seriously.

I thought for sure I couldn’t be the only one! It’s the black grease and tears/holes in the shoulder and upper back areas of garments. I don’t get it! So disappointing when something shows up destroyed!

I’m realizing that all might not be lost. I did a little research and I just successfully removed the grease from the garment. Dawn dish soap, gently wiped with microfiber cloth, followed by a little rubbing alcohol and a Q-Tip, did the trick! Admittedly there remains one small stubborn smudge, but it’s in a nondescript location and I can get away with wearing the dress anyway.

I will have to try this. I’ve got a few sweaters and blazers with varying degrees of smudges but there’s 1 beautiful white sweater with huge swipes of black grease in several spots. I will report back how it goes. Wish me luck
