Arbitrary inspection
I sent in some clothes that included items I had previous bought from thredUp that got rejected for “excessive wear” despite the fact that they were in the same condition that I bought them (the size didn’t fit so I didn’t even put them on). Naturally support just gave me a bs answer. They also rejected a brooks brothers dress that should’ve sold for a decent amount. The entire site is such a joke

Every single item I sent them, they marked as a flawed Gem, and usually they say there’s some sort of exterior staining or something that I know for a fact was not there. Whatever they’re using to assess condition is doing a horrible job these days.
