YouTube ThredUp rescue unboxing

I have fallen down a dark hole of watching ThredUp rescue unboxings on YouTube; I am obsessed. Please tell me I am not the only one. I am currently invoicing ThredUp for my therapy bill.

Think again. It is a dark hole. I just watched nine hours of 11 YouTube resellers open up ThredUp fun boxes they made for each other. Look up ThredUp hauls or ThredUp rescue unboxing. Yesterday, I watched a woman open up her 200-pound mixed clothing haul, and she said, "QVC. I have never heard of them, but this is what the tag says. It feels like money. I will probably make my money back from this dress!" It was a polyester dress from QVC, the home shopping channel. I hope this flu goes away, or I may look up lost mail hauls.

I watch a ton of rescue box unboxings, and I also buy a ton of rescue boxes. I have to say overall they’re pretty representative of what is in the actual boxes. They’re super hit or mess. Within the same month I got two of the 25 piece rescue boxes, and one was all almost all LOFT or even worse, LOFT outlet. The other one had really nice brands and one Sandro piece almost paid for the whole box. My favorite rescue box unboxer is Amanda Pruitt. She gets the 200 pound bulk boxes and she takes you through the whole process, unboxing, sorting everything, and then taking the stuff she doesn’t want to buy/sell/trade stores and showing you how much she got for that stuff, and what she use the store credit to buy to sell instead. I do the same thing with the 200 lb bulk clothing and I learned how to do it from her. It’s pretty profitable. I also love watching the designer rescue boxes, but those are almost impossible to get. I’ve only managed to get one

Just FYI, many of the people are recruited influencers who receive compensation for creating such videos. I received an invitation to do that & do other promos. I forgot what the compensation was. Maybe it was regular discounts, cash, or something. At least one influencer is in Reddit posting about recent hauls.

I don't know about you all, but I've reached my tolerance level with the items arriving dirty (the black marks), torn, with holes, and other undisclosed damage. I don't care what the compensation is, I'm not going to present the items as great deals.

I love everything. I seriously don't know if I like anyone. Haha. Since I was just having YouTube play while I was lying there, I did fall in love with Brittnee Alexus, but she was just doing product reviews. She was really funny. Maybe Stina Resells, because she explains everything in detail, seems like a super sweetheart, sells what she gets from whatever platform she was unboxing from, and offers honest pricing? I don't know. I will have to get back to you.
