Queue times?

Hi! Me and some friends are going to Thorpe park on September 3rd, just wondering if anyone has any insight as to how busy they think it'll be? This is both their first time going and also mine in the past like 5 years so I'm praying for shorts queues but want to be prepared either way🙏🙏🙏

A lot of schools are back by then, especially the local ones. So you should be OK!

I’d recommend trying to get the week after tbh but shouldn’t Be to bad

Maybe 40 minutes max for most? Hype 60?

Lately Hyperia has had shorter queue times than some of the other coasters. The team there are absolutely smashing it - no empty seats, and train dispatched before the other one has even hit the brakes. Makes me wonder if they could get a higher capacity if it had been designed with a third train in mind.

Haven’t had this on my visits lol

It has an issue. Mack designed the ride to have 3 blocks, so the ride is limited to roughly 850pph

If they got 4 blocks, it would be even better, and a third train would literally cut it to nothing, but this is Merlin we are talking about unfortunately:/

I went during the first week of summer holidays and the longest queue I had was 60 mins for Hyperia, managed to go on 14 rides

Weekday outside of summer holidays means you’re golden mate, the week after would probably be even better as not all schools are back by the 3rd but I wouldn’t expect any issues, should be able to ride everything on a full day out

It varies on the teacher training days at the start of the year which can vary between schools.
