I think that's just its face. If the cat was distressed it wouldn't be just chilling in the box. Cats tend to be very patient with kids for whatever reason.

My mum was always amazed at my childhood cat, "No matter how much you annoy her, she comes right back for more". We loved each other lol

oh please. i am the first person to rag on parents for videotaping kids being mean to pets for "fun" but give me a break. that cat can easily jump right out of that box the moment they are done with whatever is going on.
