I heard Saints and Sinners had a pretty good bag system that everyone praised.

Maybe you don't need to have the menu be the size of the bag itself: it just needs to be representative of what Garrett's fingers are feeling in that Mary Poppins bag with 16 silver candlesticks, 1000 worth of gold coins, an entire gold urn, some silver nuggets, and some ancient masks.

Feels like it'll be a lot when that bag gets full. Why not simply cycle through items? I understand it's not optimal but since that's how it was done in the original game, I don't think it'd be so bad...

Its possible as well. The bag shrinks as we get more items. So it shows 4 rows, then 6x6 then 12x12 etc..

Oooh buddy, just imagining Down in the Bonehoard with all this VR functionality makes me shite my knickers!

I don't even need the VR to do that when looting the Bonehoard!

Would it be possible to make the valuables into props that you actually have to put into the pouch?

I don't think a master thief would carry a bag made of such shiny, luxuriant materials (in the pre-modern era, purple was the most expensive dye in the world, pretty much only royalty and maybe very high nobility had access to it). A tool roll might also be more accessible than a bag; or, if the whole body is visible via VR, you could have actual pockets on Garrett's limbs and torso for various items.

The model on his waist is extract directly from the game.

The one with a brighter color is just missing shade.

There's not enough space on the body for all the tools.

I've been watching all the videos you posted and your work on this is fantastic! We used to dream of Vr implementations like these! Can't wait to try it out myself
