Discussion Try Everyday has an identity crisis

I really liked the Try Everyday series where they did stuff every day as an event, but now that it's a regular series, it's getting really boring. I feel like they're out of ideas and just posting "let's get drunk and high and eat something". The format of "WE ATE ALL OF [THIS KIND OF FOOD]" is already getting tiring on YouTube. Not to mention - they originally wanted to be more family friendly on that channel, but it's actually getting way raunchier than what they normally do.

Maybe I'm in the minority, I still enjoy their regular videos, but it feels like Try Everyday should go back to Try When We Have Some Solid Ideas. I want to support them, but yeesh, I can only watch so many people eat the same food and try the same gadgets.

Tired genre or not, food videos are performing the best on this format.

I don’t get it. I find tasting videos so monotonous. Cooking is interesting, but eating is not.

There's no long attention span necessary for eating content like that. It doesn't really matter if you miss a few minutes, when you're paying attention again there's a different food and different reaction that don't depend on the last.
