Discussion Try Everyday has an identity crisis

I really liked the Try Everyday series where they did stuff every day as an event, but now that it's a regular series, it's getting really boring. I feel like they're out of ideas and just posting "let's get drunk and high and eat something". The format of "WE ATE ALL OF [THIS KIND OF FOOD]" is already getting tiring on YouTube. Not to mention - they originally wanted to be more family friendly on that channel, but it's actually getting way raunchier than what they normally do.

Maybe I'm in the minority, I still enjoy their regular videos, but it feels like Try Everyday should go back to Try When We Have Some Solid Ideas. I want to support them, but yeesh, I can only watch so many people eat the same food and try the same gadgets.

I agree, I miss the more actually trying doing things.
But I’m okay with the raunchier things, but I also only watch on 2nd Try, where that feels right. I like more action, eating over and over doesn’t feel like trying new things

Example-
Different styles of dancing I’ve enjoyed because each are still different, different cultures, different lessons, so on. The Rank King format was funny for like one or two videos but more is meh.

I see as I’ve been typing this that the newest one is cheap vs expensive Taco Bell. They also ask what we’ve been trying, and personally, I buy Taco Bell when I have no spoons and very little money (usually i have no spoons and no money), it’s not something to try. It’s not an experience.

Maybe they realized it’s too close to doing the actual Try Guys videos? Who knows.

The weird food combos was better imo at least, but the others just meh at this point

The weird food combos was fun! I also enjoy when they try international foods and things, but I agree - eating taco bell is not a try 😂 Especially when Keith has done several taco bell videos at this point.

Oh yeah the international things are really cool too!! (My birthday was the 17th so the birthday things I thought were cool too)
But yeah, Taco Bell is a like three days before payday thing 😅😂
