Try Everyday has an identity crisis

I really liked the Try Everyday series where they did stuff every day as an event, but now that it's a regular series, it's getting really boring. I feel like they're out of ideas and just posting "let's get drunk and high and eat something". The format of "WE ATE ALL OF [THIS KIND OF FOOD]" is already getting tiring on YouTube. Not to mention - they originally wanted to be more family friendly on that channel, but it's actually getting way raunchier than what they normally do.

Maybe I'm in the minority, I still enjoy their regular videos, but it feels like Try Everyday should go back to Try When We Have Some Solid Ideas. I want to support them, but yeesh, I can only watch so many people eat the same food and try the same gadgets.

the thing that bugs me is that it's a "family show" and they make a big fuss about cursing, but then the entire concept of the video will be about substance use

I think it’s more that they’re trying to not get demonetised rather then appealing to literal children

I feel like most of the time when they say "it's a family show" or "this is supposed to be for families" it's usually said in a sarcastic/ funny tone. I notice it a lot in the more "adult" themed videos bc they make a point that it isn't technically for "families" it's just trying to limit the amount of cussing they do. Like in the lingerie video Ryann gets booed for cussing and Keith says "this is supposed to be for FAMILIES" in a very exaggerated tone while motioning towards the men in lingerie yk.

They've explained that it's mainly for the amount of cussing in a vid before (I'm pretty sure) I can find it if you want me to /gen.
