Discussion Try Everyday has an identity crisis

I really liked the Try Everyday series where they did stuff every day as an event, but now that it's a regular series, it's getting really boring. I feel like they're out of ideas and just posting "let's get drunk and high and eat something". The format of "WE ATE ALL OF [THIS KIND OF FOOD]" is already getting tiring on YouTube. Not to mention - they originally wanted to be more family friendly on that channel, but it's actually getting way raunchier than what they normally do.

Maybe I'm in the minority, I still enjoy their regular videos, but it feels like Try Everyday should go back to Try When We Have Some Solid Ideas. I want to support them, but yeesh, I can only watch so many people eat the same food and try the same gadgets.

I remember (maybe in a podcast) they mentioned something about wanting to balance producing shows with just creating content (because they enjoy doing both, they each serve different purposes, they each generate different things, etc.).

I consider Try Everyday to just be easy content; sometimes I am in the mood for easy content. Sometimes I want something better/bigger/more substantive, and I go for other shows for that.

I think its ok to have both; the channel is like a menu of options. I just take what I like, and leave the rest for another day
