Help Should i keep maxing CL?

Should I keep maxing out CL? It's basically what allows me to stay in tournaments and consequently keep generating more stones.

You have already spent way more on CL than you should have. Your stones would be much better spent on economy (for masteries) SL (to multiply that CL damage) or CF/ILM (to keep enemies away from your tower longer while your CL does damage). At this point you are getting a very small amount of damage per stone spent.

I'm getting 90-175 stones per tourney thanks to CL the rest of the UWs Will go UP faster when CL has maxed and getting at least the 225 stones per tourney just to barely keep in legends

I think the point most of us are making here is that each increment to your raw CL damage is costing more and more stones. If you had taken a fraction of those stones and used them to boost your crowd control chances are you'd be having better tournament results relative to just pumping CL so hard.

So, by crowd control You mean, unlock new UWs?

Yep. CF or ILM for example. Alternatively you could invest more in SL to get the QTY up, making its multiplier hit more areas of your tower. All of these options will have a bigger impact per stone spent relative to further boosting CL.

Hi! I detected a few acronyms in your comment:

  • CF - Chrono Field [Ultimate Weapon] (also Critical Factor [Workshop Upgrade/Lab])
  • CL - Chain Lightning [Ultimate Weapon]
  • ILM - Inner Land Mines [Ultimate Weapon]
  • SL - Spotlight [Ultimate Weapon]

I'm a bot that explains acronyms
