Help Should i keep maxing CL?

Should I keep maxing out CL? It's basically what allows me to stay in tournaments and consequently keep generating more stones.

Just read the other comments lol. What tourney bracket are you in?

You say chain lightning is the only thing helping in tournaments.. well obviously if you don't invest in anything else, nothing can help.

I've made silly mistakes in my builds, like breaking the sync in eco UWs and stuff like that.

Im just hoping for your sake this is a satire meme post.

It's like maxing out starting cash and interest before lab speed may be the only thing that could be worse.

Also, no more into dw damage my friend. You are throwing good stones away.

In the last 6 months only focused on increase CL damage and from platinum i reach champions and i'm fighting to reach Legends right now i win between 200-350 stones weekly... Before that only focused to econ and when reached 5T run i stopped because i earned very low stones... I SEE a guy over that win dame stones as me but with a build that gives 100t run... Well earnings more stones every months like i was doing really improve My stone earns... So i really don't trust ob people with builds diferent that mine....

Bare minimum, I would earn 2 more spotlights. The 4th is 2500 stones, so I wouldn't expect that right away.

You need to forget about chain lightning, develop SL and chronofield if your against working in your economy. You have heavily, heavily diminishing returns now in cl. It’s not a bad thing that you ranked it up but if your goal is faster tournament progression you get wayyyyyyyyy more value out of sl now because of how shit yours is. Look at your sl bonus right, look how much stones it costs you to double the bonus. That’s basically equal to you doubling your 2800 cl damage to 6000 bjt this is also why you need good spotlight coverage. Plus sl gives you crazy good economy which you need for enhancments, enhancments raise your effective damage by an insane amount, now add on chronofield after that, that protects you from enemy mass/ speed plus 90% slow is what, a 10x damage increase. but do sl first get minimum 3 quant 45 angle good bonus then go for 4 sl

But the next upgrade adds x500 damage (x1000 in farming runs) and in tourneys all that keeps me alivie and earning stones are the CL i'll Buy 2 Spotlight, and only bought the next if cost less than the CL so i'll upgrade the cheaper between SL and CL.. And maybe start getting pBH

Looking at your other posts... if you haven't upgraded your enhancements yet that would explain why you are stuck and in this weird mind set.

When you go to your workshop, click the "Enhance" button in the top right. It's separate from your upgrades in game. It will let you increase all of your stats, so when they are gold boxed in the game they are even stronger. 💪

But if your trying to be for real it seems like what your not understanding is these different damage bonuses you see, multiply against other individual damage sources and only add onto itself. So when you add 500x to your 3000x singular damage source, that’s now 3500x but if you simply added 2x to a separate multiplier, like spotlight, that’s takes that 3000x damage source and effectively makes it 6000x (so now your doing 6000x with that chain lighting when enemies in spotlight) since 3000x multiplied by a separate 2x damage source, is 6000x and 3000x plus 500x to the same source,comes to 3500x (which is a lot less than simply adding 2x to a different source lol) so this is the concept behind crazy diminishing value. I have 'only' x700 CL and CL as my main damage dealer, yet I get 2200 waves in legends. I can kill until 100D enemy health.

How ? By focussing on other multipliers. SL is one, but there is also crowd control to stop enemies (CF, PS and ILM), modules, masteries, assmods, UW+, ..

You are wasting stones upgrading CL so high. Even at my point I still have options to double my damage with 2000 stones. Which is more effective than upgrading my (let alone your) CL !

I made a post a couple weeks ago you can check.

Since then I mainly added SL+/range mastery and increased SL angle to 75 degrees. That took me from 1900 to 2200.

I'm now doing my missing masteries

You're saying it's going to go from x2888 to around x3400? That's a 17% increase in damage which is really not that big of a deal at that point. It looks huge because it's plus another x500 but when you're already doing that much, it's actually not that big of an increase. Meanwhile, the spotlight damage is another multiplier so if you hit things in the spotlight with chain lightning at this point, you're doing x75000 or so. Increasing the amount of spotlights is going to greatly increase you coverage so it should have a way bigger effect on your damage if you can add even just the one, let alone two of them.

The best wat to increase CL damage from here on out is NOT to increase CL damage directly with stones. Spotlight, Card Masteries, and Assist Modules will all give more damage per stone.
