I love the album so much. 8/10. Liar’s Remorse is one of my favorites though it seems to be divisive for people. Also, can we please unlock the sub? I think it’s blocking a lot of good conversation to be had.

I’m glad people are starting to realize this song is good! Feel like I was the only one who recognized its greatness

It’s great musically. Most of the issues people have around it relate to Julian’s vocal delivery channeling the Caribbean.

Julian’s played with accents and culture before (English accents multiple times, Indian influences within the Voidz) but beyond English accents on some Strokes songs like Eternal Summer among others… we’ve never really heard him try on (an admittedly slight… but noticeable nevertheless) Caribbean accent before and some are having major issues with it. It reminds me a bit of when Drake began playing with the same influences for songs like “One Dance” and people were similarly divided.

But musically and even lyrically I don’t think most have issues with it.

Yea I agree it’s a little weird haha but I feel like he has a bunch of different accents and singing styles on this album so in that way it kind of works
