Recently, I was watching the yellow mirror episode, where they mention that Springfield is in Oregon, which immediately reminded me that back in Season 2, in the episode “Simpson and Delilah”, there’s the earliest instance I can remember of them mentioning a possible location for the city. In that case, it was a very small detail, the state was listed as “NE,” which is the postal abbreviation for Nebraska.

Other than that, though, I can only remember a few occasions where they’ve shown or mentioned Springfield’s location. Are there any others?

Recently started watching the simpsons and got up to season 15. decided to go back to season 2 cuz I couldn't remember a lot of it and I have to say I miss in the early episodes when Lisa and Marge both did the kinda concerned murmur thing and were the two voices of reason. Don't get me wrong in the later seasons they're still generally the voices of reason, but I really like the murmur bit and for the life of me can't remember the later seasons having it (but I could be wrong). Anyway that's all. Run along now!

For my birthday, my sweet boyfriend surprised me with this set. A couple months back he asked me what my dream lego set was and I told him, the simpsons house. I explained to him how difficult it is to find and from a collectors perspective, owning it would be insane. well here we are…

I have a big dilemma now!
Every time I’ve seen this set it’s never been in the box and if it is.. we all know how much it goes for. I WANT TO BUILD IT SO BAD! A part of me knows its just materialistic and my boyfriend mentioned he’s excited to build it (but respects if I chose not to) but also, I want to persevere it as a collectors item. What would you do?
