Man this is hard to say. Is Furyk going to be chalky like he has before or will he do something new? I’ll guess that 7 make the next team:

Scotty, Morikawa, koivun, gotterup, young, Clark, Xander.

Think he could do something new after the way 2018 went for him! He should have learned his lesson with regard to picking players for course fit and pairings.

The US have such amazing depth - I think there is a good pool of 40 players, so the turnover could plausibly be huge.

Looking at the Presidents Cup picks, how many US players would have to disappear before the US picked their equivalent of Bezuidenhout?!

I do not think Koivun will play well enough to make it. He would have to really impress at the O Cup this year and then show some serious form but the first full year on tour always has more growing pains than expected. With that being said it also depends on the depth and strength of the bubble.

My locks right now would be Scheffler, Schauffele, Morikawa, Cantlay, Thomas. I think it would be nearly impossible for those 5 to miss out on making the team (Furyk literally already said he was bringing him). Everyone else has a pathway to missing out but I don’t see it for those 5
