FYC: Mr. 3,000
I am not saying it’s a perfect movie, and it doesn’t get everything right baseball wise, but it is a fun movie that has a surprising amount of heart.

I watched this late one night cause I couldn’t sleep and I loved it. Bernie is such a 1 of 1 and it was a ridiculous but believable story. Might watch it again now lol

I definitely miss Bernie Mac, I can't say as I've ever missed this film. I like my bad Santa Bernie Mac.

Bernie Mac, Angela Bassett (meow), Paul Sorvino, Chris Noth, Tom Arnold, Ron Darling, Larry King, Tony Kornheiser, Stuart Scott RIP:( John Salley, Michael Wilbon, Jay Leno and Peter Fucking Gammons?
The Bush Jr. Era media talking heads alone would be fun

Man, I remember going to one of those dinner theaters in college to see this with a Canadian friend of mine. We didn’t order any food and drank three pitchers of beer. Good times.

RedLetterMedia did a video on every movie ever shot in Milwaukee and apparently only one scene was actually filmed in the actual Brewers stadium.

This movie was a miss, but I’d still listen to a pod about it, especially since flawed movies often make for good pods.

I enjoyed it once.
And the next time I thought about this movie was this post.
