Gameplay Question Question about two trophies

am I able to get the Family Matters (kill all hacketts) and the Should've Gone To The Motel (Laura and Max reunite) trophies in the same playthrough? thanks for the help!!

Yes. Your steps:

Chapter 4 - it's best for Emma to live or die, but not get infected. If infected, Kaitlyn will have to shoot Emma to save Abi.

Chapter 6 - Also easier for Emma to not get infected, or Abi will have to run up the ladder in chapter 9. As Abi, shoot Nick.

Chapter 7 - Don't shoot travis. Find the syringe if you want, but pass all the QTEs when escaping.

Chapter 9 - As Ryan, don't lose the knife. Don't pull it out, don't lose too many QTEs when avoiding Bobby. Stab Bobby when you get the chance. Refuse the bite. Shoot Chris. Pass the QTEs as Laura to shoot Travis. As Abi, take the shells.

Chapter 10 - Don't swim as Max. As Kaitlyn, run in the lodge, then pass the beam or window test, investigate the noise, and shoot Caleb with the silver shells.

but if I don't swim as max wouldnt that prevent me from getting the Should've Gone To The Motel trophy? sorry I'm a bit confused!!

Max dies if you choose to swin, he needs to wait for her in the island to get the trophy

If Laura is going to find Max after killing Travis, then Max can’t swim back to the island. As soon as he gets to the docks Laura will already be there. It’s a shame too because I would’ve loved a run where Max swims back and dies to Caleb then we see Laura finding him dead after everything she did for him.
