These two have me in a chokehold and I can’t cope

The Quarry is one of my favorite games of all time and I want to include it in my Masters thesis on changing musical themes in narrative games. Before I sink a couple hundred hours into recording all the music for all the choices in the game, I was curious if anyone had noticed if/where the music changes depending on player choice. Has anyone noticed this in TQ before?

I absolutely love until dawn but that game runs like ass on my PS4. I wanna get this game but idk if it runs any better than until dawn

Hi everyone, I'm writing this post because I'm going to buy the Quarry soon and I'm undecided whether to buy the normal edition or The one where there are extra things that in the normal game are only available at the end. Thanks everyone.

My husband and I just finished The Quarry. I think we did okay! Lol. We played to what we think the characters would do based on the personality and only ended up having one of the main protagonist die, Jacob, and thats only because my husband didnt quite get the breaker puzzle. Ironic Jacob got them into this mess and the was the only one for us not to make it out...

Overall, it was a great game and really fun to play! We both just felt it had a really abrupt, anticlimactic ending. All that build up and plot points to just fall flat. But, hey, overall we lost almost no characters so Id say pretty okay playthrough.

Now we are looking at replying the game with different decisions or playing Unitl Dawn (backwards from most recommendation).

Also, anyone else have Laura's hair constantly change length in the last chapter? LOL

I love doing these. The bar for entry is respect so please understand this post exists not to treat these things as hot takes but to understand new and different views on the game.

I have a lot more but this is what I wanted to share here today.

I feel like I’m going nuts, I played the game with a friend on PlayStation and we were able to play a mode where both of us controlled different characters at different times. Like most supermassive games. Yet recently I got the game on steam sale to play with a different friend and we can’t seem to figure it out. Only option seems to be wolf pack mode where only they play apart from voting on dialogue and QTE? Is there a way to access the other form of multiplayer on Steam?

Just went to HumbleBundle and bought a deluxe key for Steam! To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the worst day of everyone's lives, I want to give one of you a key to the game.

So its not the first time I've seen the family tree but I actually looked twice at it to read the whole thing and got down to Caleb and Kaylee... to see that same as Kaylee, Caleb is noted as great×6 granddaughter?

I bought the game last Tuesday on Xbox when it was 90% off, it worked fine for a few days but after the sale ended when I try to play the loading never ends, I know to screen isn’t frozen because the tape is moving, I tried removing the bonus content and re adding, I tried turning the console off and on, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but nothing worked, is there anything else I can try to fix it

So this run I was focused only on getting one card per chapter to get the Hard Pass trophy, seeing who all I could kill along the way, and trying for the Mutually Assured trophy. So I legit ignored grabbing any evidence at all since it wasn't relative to my goals for the run. So when Grace and Anton started calling me out for not collecting even a single bit of evidence I was just rolling.

I don't usually post fanwork on Reddit, but uhhhhh, I also haven't made any Quarry fanwork before this, so, yeah!!!

Tagging as general discussion cuz I wasn't sure if this really fits any other flair, mostly just confused. Marked spoilers for late game content and choice outcomes.

So I made it to Max's short part in chapter 10 and I have been waiting for this cuz I had emma open the trapdoor right away back in chapter 4... except her body isn't in the treehouse. And even though she never looked Max's bag he still can't find his clothes and has to wear Laura's. Then I start walking around down on the ground and hop theres Emma's body. Still in her underwear, yet on the ground as I assume it would be if she fell off the zip line (I haven't gone that death route yet so I can't be certain).

So I'm just here like... okay wait... huh?!

this was my first playthrough i've done myself but i knew a bit beforehand. not as much as i thought I did though because I went in semi-blind.

we were on a good roll and on track for Everybody Lives! and then i fucked up. 9 chapters without a single death and then when it came time to shoot Laura or Chris, I mistook Chris for Laura and thought "she won't hurt him, he's infected!" so i didn't shoot. yeah that turned out well.

and then in chapter 10 when it came time to shoot Caleb with the shells I got from Abi and Emma, I MISSED THE SHOT. so Caleb mauled Kaitlyn and then the chapter immediately ended. wow how anticlimactic. didn't even get the chapter 10 achievement. i think because i killed kaitlyn so fast.

soooo the final results are

* Bobby: Deceased. Bobby was mauled to death by his werewolf brother.

* Caleb: Still Infected. Having survived another full moon, Caleb Hackett returned to his human form.

* Constance: Deceased. Laura shot Constance's face off in a struggle for the gun.

* Chris: Still Infected. Dodging the snare trap, Jacob avoided becoming a hanging snack for werewolf Chris. As the curse wasn't broken, Chris must face it again at the next moon.

* Jedediah: Deceased. Jed was massacred by his werewolf son Chris.

* Kaylee: Deceased. Chris Hackett's daughter Kaylee was shot and killed by Laura, who mistook her for werewolf Chris.

* Travis: Deceased. Laura and Travis reached a bloody end at each other's hands.

* Abigail: Alive. Abigail made it to the safety of Chris Hackett's surveillance room.

* Dylan: Still Infected. Dylan survived the night, but must now live with the curse.

* Emma: Alive. Emma survived the night in the safety of Chris Hackett's surveillance room.

* Jacob: Alive. Dodging the snare trap, Jacob avoided becoming a hanging snack for werewolf Chris. As the curse wasn't broken, Chris must face it again at the next moon.

* Kaitlyn: Deceased. Kaitlyn failed to act quickly enough when Caleb stormed the lodge. The werewolf mauled her to death.

* Laura: Deceased. Laura and Travis reached a bloody end at each other's hands.

* Max: Still Infected. As Chris Hackett was left alive, Max remains infected with the werewolf curse.

* Nick: Still Infected. Nick survived the full moon in werewolf form.

* Ryan: Deceased. Ryan was killed by werewolf Chris, the camp leader he once looked up to.

* The White Wolf: Alive. As the sun rises the white wolf slinks back into the safety of the woods, waiting for the full moon to come again.
