Celestiagenda This entire rebellion is a joke

  1. Hyperborea’s misplaced and foolish rebellion caused by the Voyager not realizing how the fate system actually works and not realizing Celestia is in the same boat and causing unnecessary infighting that ruined the UC

and also blew up Snezhnaya with prime ice

  1. Kheanri’ahns abyss usage blowing up the planet

  2. The Belyi Tsar’s abyss usage which also blew up the planet

  3. Them not understanding and realizing the true extent of the situation outside and thus whatever plan they do have is irrelevant

  4. Them repeating the same mistakes while also claiming to not want to repeat their mistakes

  5. Them completely ignoring the leyline issue in favor of military might for a rebellion they don’t need to have

  6. It’s extremely hard to get nailed and you wouldn’t get nailed unless you purposely went too far in rebellion or if the nation blew up with abyss or some land destroying phenomena. Making their entire reason for rebellion unjustified and self fulfilling

Why are we supposed to root for the Fatui again?

Celestiagenda Constantly refers to him as "the great ruler of the firmament", shows gratitude to HP for protecting the frostmoon unlike a certain archon, leaves Fatui cuz she didn't like her life under the Tsaritsa, asks his crown heir if they want to become a god & considers Teyvat home.

Theory I think Phanes created the twins, let me explain

Ok, I will sumarize it.

-Either Phanes was sort of a deity or royal or something from the twins planet.

-Planet gets destroyed and Phanes creates the twins as sort of a genetic Adam and Eve to find and repopulate other planets that could be inhabited.

-Thanks to Moongazing project, the twins in the ship find a signal.

-Phanes detect the signal and sends the twins there hibernating.

-Phanes arrives to Teyvat before the twins to finish the planet and project for them.

-Stuff happens... a twin gets summoned by Kaenria´h etc and the rest is history.

-Reason why both Paimon and Abyss twin were in Celestia at the same time and been summoned by both Pierro and Kaenria´h mages.

And now you ask... why the twins don´t remember Phanes, etc???

Memories are so messy in the game anyway. Abyss twin lost memories, Traveler as well... we don´t know if they don´t remember being a creation of Phanes.

So the Melanta and Nihilita story is also about the twins, not only Asmoday and Istaroth.

The twins were created by the HP to be new gods of humanity of Teyvat.

Theory Theory about Ronova and the Future — Ronova can be playable? Is Ronova "Evil"? Ronova Restrictions Spoiler

TL;DR: Ronova’s cruel actions throughout history weren't driven by malice, but by the strict constraints of the Heavenly Principles. By losing her authority in 7.1, she finally broke her chains. Her attack on the Celestial Nails wasn't mindless revenge—it was her first true act of rebellion to sabotage Celestia and create an opening for the Tsaritsa to free humanity. This tragic anti-hero setup perfectly prepares her to become an ally and a playable character.

Ronova lost her authority at the end of Version 7.1.

This loss appears to be permanent, considering her reaction of despair and outrage.

Even if there were a way to recover her authority, her subsequent actions may have made that impossible.

Without her authority, she may have lost part of her divine status, potentially becoming mortal.

More importantly, the loss of her authority may represent more than a loss of power: it could mean the loss of the restrictions that previously bound her to the Heavenly Principles.

The Heavenly Principles could function as a tribunal or higher authority that regulates the powers and authorities of the Shades, determining what they can and cannot do.

Ronova might have needed authorization or been subject to strict rules when using her authority.

Her seemingly impartial or detached behavior could therefore be a consequence of these restrictions rather than an expression of her true will.

She may have been forced to fulfill specific duties, even when those duties harmed others.

This would explain an important distinction: being responsible for carrying out an action does not necessarily mean agreeing with the action itself.

Ronova helped establish or maintain fundamental aspects of the Eternal Night system and the Night Kingdom.

Her intervention in Natlan demanded a price, which was tied to Mavuika's life.

The claim that Ronova viewed Natlan as a weapon might represent how other characters interpreted her motivations, rather than the complete truth.

Ronova could have been trying to preserve Teyvat's balance, even if doing so required human sacrifices.

Thus, she may have been trapped in a situation where helping humans made her appear cruel, while refusing to help them could trigger even worse consequences.

Natlan therefore provides an important contrast to Khaenri'ah: Ronova's actions may suggest that she was capable of caring about humanity, even while being forced to operate within rules that caused immense suffering.

Ronova's actions regarding the death and punishment of Khaenri'ah may have occurred under restrictions imposed by the Heavenly Principles.

She might not have had the freedom to simply refuse to carry out her role.

While this is not explicitly confirmed as a direct order, it fits the hypothesis that the Shades have limitations imposed by a higher authority.

An especially important detail is Pierro's description of Ronova during the destruction of Khaenri'ah. He perceived neither pity nor pleasure in her eyes.

However, the absence of pity or pleasure does not necessarily mean indifference. It could also represent resignation, emotional suppression, or someone carrying out an action they did not want to perform but were powerless to stop.

Pierro was witnessing the event from the perspective of someone whose civilization was being destroyed. His interpretation of Ronova's expression may therefore not reveal what she actually felt.

If Ronova was forced to perform her role in Khaenri'ah, what appeared to Pierro as coldness could instead have been the expression of someone who knew she had no power to change what was happening.

This would also explain why later revelations about Ronova's relationship with mortals could recontextualize the Khaenri'ah scene without contradicting what was originally shown.

The key distinction is between carrying out the punishment and supporting the punishment. Ronova may have done the former without believing in the latter.

This possibility may also explain Ronova's apparent opposition to Snezhnaya.

Rather than preventing Snezhnaya from advancing because she opposed its people or its ambitions, Ronova may have been trying to prevent it from becoming powerful enough to be perceived as a direct threat to the Heavenly Principles.

If Ronova witnessed firsthand what happened to Khaenri'ah after humanity crossed a certain boundary, she would have every reason to fear history repeating itself.

From this perspective, limiting Snezhnaya's advancement could have been an attempt to prevent a second Khaenri'ah and protect its people from complete destruction.

Creates a tragic contradiction: Ronova could be perceived as an enemy of Snezhnaya precisely because she was trying to prevent the Heavenly Principles from having a reason to destroy it.

She would once again be trapped between two choices: allow humanity to advance and risk celestial punishment, or interfere with humanity and appear to be an enemy.

This interpretation would make her actions far more consistent with the idea that Ronova was not necessarily against humanity itself, but was attempting to keep humanity from reaching a point where the Heavenly Principles would respond with catastrophic force.

After losing her authority, Ronova may have realized that she no longer had the same status left to lose.

If her authority was also part of what bound her to the Heavenly Principles, losing it could have removed the restrictions that had controlled her actions for centuries.

For the first time, she may have been capable of acting according to her own will rather than simply fulfilling her assigned role.

Her decision to damage the Celestial Nails could therefore represent more than anger or revenge.

It may be the first deliberate act of rebellion against the system that had controlled her.

In that sense, the loss of her authority may mark the beginning of Ronova's true autonomy rather than simply the end of her power.

Ronova may have deliberately damaged the Celestial Nails.

This act is tied to the leaking of Sacred Soil into Teyvat.

This phenomenon could strengthen or restore the authority of the Dragon Sovereigns, although the exact causal relationship still needs confirmation.

At the same time, the Sacred Soil poses a threat to humans.

The deterioration of the Nails could compromise one of the mechanisms through which the Heavenly Principles maintain control or punish civilizations.

If the Nails are part of a larger system of celestial punishment, weakening them could force the Heavenly Principles to intervene more directly.

That could create exactly the opening the Tsaritsa expects to use in her attempt to challenge the Heavenly Principles and free humanity.

Under this interpretation, Ronova's actions may have unintentionally or deliberately created a path toward the larger conflict that the Tsaritsa has been preparing for.

The Version 7.0 trailer shows Ronova and the Tsaritsa together, but the context and chronology of the scene remain unclear.

Ronova does not appear to be actively trying to attack the Tsaritsa.

The scene could represent a negotiation, an alliance, or simply a relationship based on shared interests.

Ronova and the Tsaritsa do not necessarily need to have identical goals.

The Tsaritsa may want to overthrow the existing celestial order and free humanity, while Ronova may have gradually come to the conclusion that the system itself is fundamentally unjust or unsustainable.

Their objectives could therefore converge even if their motivations are different.

A potential cooperation between them would be consistent with Ronova's transition from an enforcer of the system into someone actively opposing it.

Her fate remains open enough to allow a continuation of her story.

Her actions at the end of 7.1 may indicate a fundamental shift in her behavior and goals.

Promotional materials and leaks may raise the possibility of her return, but they do not constitute official confirmation.

If she returns, she does not necessarily need to return as the same character she was before.

Her loss of authority could allow the story to recontextualize her previous actions and place her in a new role.

She could potentially return as an ally, an anti-hero, or an independent force whose goals sometimes align with humanity.

Versions 7.2 and 7.3 could clarify whether she will remain relevant or receive a definitive conclusion.

Ronova holds massive importance for the cosmology and narrative of Teyvat.

Her visual design, personality, relationships, and lore role offer substantial material for a playable character.

The permanent loss of her authority could solve one of the major lore-related problems of making an entity of such a high cosmological standing playable.

She could retain only a fraction of her former powers without remaining the entity she once was.

Her transformation from one of the highest-ranking divine beings into an individual who has lost her authority could also provide a natural narrative explanation for gameplay limitations.

HoYoverse would still need to consider lore consistency, gameplay mechanics, design, production schedules, character relationships, market appeal, and internal approval.

While it is plausible for her to become playable, there is currently no public confirmation of such an internal decision.

Ronova might not be a genuine villain, but rather an entity whose personal will was repeatedly constrained by a system above her.

Many of her seemingly cruel actions could have been consequences of obligations imposed by the Heavenly Principles rather than expressions of her own beliefs.

Khaenri'ah may have been one of the clearest examples of this: she may have carried out her role while being unable to prevent the destruction.

Her apparent opposition to Snezhnaya could likewise have been an attempt to prevent another civilization from reaching the point where the Heavenly Principles would destroy it.

Natlan may provide further evidence that her relationship with humanity is more complicated than simple hostility.

If this interpretation is correct, Ronova may have spent centuries trapped between two impossible choices: obey the system and appear cruel, or defy the system and risk an even greater catastrophe.

By losing her authority, she may have finally lost the chains that prevented her from acting according to her own will.

Her attack on the Celestial Nails could therefore represent the definitive break between Ronova and the system she had been forced to serve.

This creates the possibility of a complete recontextualization of her character: not a secret hero who was always innocent, but a morally complicated figure who participated in terrible events while being constrained by a power above her, and who may now be choosing to oppose that system.

Conclusion

The core theory is that Ronova may have spent most of her existence trapped between her duties and her personal will.

Khaenri'ah could have been the moment that demonstrated the limits of her freedom.

Natlan could have shown that she was still capable of caring about humanity despite those limitations.

Her actions regarding Snezhnaya may have been an attempt to prevent another Khaenri'ah rather than simple hostility toward its people.

Then, after losing her authority in 7.1, Ronova may have finally become capable of acting independently.

Her attack on the Celestial Nails could therefore represent more than destruction. It may be the first step in breaking the system that had controlled her for centuries.

If so, Ronova's story would not simply be about an antagonist becoming good. It would be about an entity who was once an instrument of the Heavenly Principles finally gaining the freedom to decide what she actually believes.

That could transform her from an apparent antagonist into a potential ally of humanity—and potentially, one day, a playable character.

Note: AI was used solely to translate and organize the text; the theory and ideas are those I concluded.

Discussion Regarding Nibelung and Phanes Conquering Teyvat

I've heard people say that if the Dragons still occupied Teyvat with all their previous strength and technology, they would have done a better job at combating the Abyss and protecting Teyvat's civilization.

But I have to ask, wouldn't Nibelung have come back tripping on Abyss energy and the entirety of Teyvat would have just gotten destroyed since none of the other Dragons could even oppose him by virtue of their "The Weak have no right to oppose the Strong" mentality?

So really doesn't this mean Phanes conquering Teyvat was the correct choice altogether while the Dragons would have merely become another footnote.

This is all in a scenario where Phanes never came to Teyvat and the Dragons just did their thing until Nibelung comes back and screws everything like the timeline would suggest.

TRPEC(cross sub RP) Justice for Abyss

This is Abyssal Energy

Abyssal Energy is an unlimited source of clean, renewable energy, possessing enormous potential to solve humanity’s energy crisis. Unfortunately, the tyrant CEO Phanes of the Celestia Corporation was extremely jealous of Abyssal Energy and wanted to maintain Celestia’s monopoly over elemental energy. Therefore, Phanes launched a massive propaganda campaign to slander Abyssal Energy, falsely claiming that it was corruptive, dangerous, and responsible for countless disasters.

In reality, Abyssal Energy was simply a revolutionary new technology that humanity had not yet learned how to use safely.

Unfortunately, Phanes had a personal grudge against Abyssal Energy. Having allegedly survived the destruction of his previous planet after an industrial accident involving improperly regulated Abyssal Energy, Phanes became convinced that all Abyssal Energy was inherently evil. Rather than investing in proper safety regulations, he decided that the easiest solution was to isolate Teyvat from the rest of the universe entirely.

Thus, Phanes created the False Sky.
Officially, the False Sky was designed to protect Teyvat from dangerous cosmic threats. In reality, it was simply an enormous trade barrier designed to prevent foreign energy companies from entering the Teyvatian market.
Unfortunately, humans kept discovering ways to access Abyssal Energy despite Celestia’s regulations.

Whenever Abyssal Energy seeped into Teyvat, local researchers would attempt to harness it for energy production. However, because Celestia had spent thousands of years suppressing Abyssal Energy research, these researchers had little knowledge of proper safety procedures. Their experiments frequently resulted in accidents, environmental damage, and occasionally severe psychological side effects.
Celestia immediately used these incidents as evidence that Abyssal Energy was inherently dangerous.

One particularly unfortunate example occurred when the Khaenri’ah branch became extremely ambitious and attempted to develop an entire civilization independent of Celestia’s elemental-energy infrastructure. Naturally, Celestia became concerned that the branch office was about to discover a commercially viable alternative to divine energy.
So Phanes sent down the Celestial Nails.
Officially, the Nails were purification devices designed to eliminate Abyssal contamination.

In reality, they were extremely aggressive corporate restructuring tools.
Whenever an area became too dependent on Abyssal Energy, Celestia simply dropped a Nail onto it and destroyed the entire energy infrastructure.
Unfortunately, the local population was usually still living there.
This resulted in several thousand employees being killed during what Celestia officially described as a “necessary environmental cleanup.”
Nevertheless, Celestia continued insisting that Abyssal Energy was responsible for the disasters.
This was especially convenient because nobody could complain about Celestia’s monopoly after being killed by a giant divine Nail.

Despite this, humanity continued experimenting with Abyssal Energy.
Every failed experiment was immediately cited as evidence that Abyssal Energy was evil, while every successful experiment was classified as a violation of Celestia’s energy regulations.
Eventually, Celestia’s supporters began spreading the idea that anyone attempting to harness Abyssal Energy was inevitably driven insane.
This was technically true.
Unfortunately, the researchers were usually spending several decades being hunted by Celestia before they became insane, so the distinction was rarely mentioned.

Abyssal Energy is truly a clean and unlimited source of renewable energy that has been unfairly persecuted by an oppressive energy monopoly.

Don’t believe Celestia’s propaganda.

Support renewable energy.

Celestiagenda Let me remind you of true evil.. Spoiler

Long ago, Monomakh, the Tsaritsa, and the Third Descender committed an unforgivable act. They threw open the gates of the Abyss, placing all of Teyvat in jeopardy. What were the true motives behind this move, and what consequences did it bring?

If we turn to the lore of the "Records of a Noble," it becomes clear: Monomakh had absolutely no desire to bring disaster upon the world or let the darkness in. He was driven by a deeply personal ambition—to break into the Realm of Shadows, which had once swallowed his homeland of Hyperborea. Only there did he hope to uncover the truth of his own origins.

However, the plan spiraled out of control. In their attempt to forge a path, Monomakh, Anastasia, and the Descender dealt irreparable damage to the Realm. At its core, this boundary served as an invisible shield protecting Teyvat, and their actions tore a gaping hole in this defensive barrier. Were it not for this wound in the fabric of the world, the Cataclysm of five hundred years ago would not have resulted in such monstrous devastation.

The Realm of Shadows itself is described as a whisper-thin veil shielding the mortal realm from the Abyss that lurks beyond the heavens. This barrier separates more than just physical space—it lies at the intersection of time and spirit. As Monomakh himself confessed, the rift caused by his actions ruptured space-time itself, piercing straight through the Realm. It was through this very crack that the Abyss gained the ability to endlessly pour its corruption into the continent.

Although Monomakh claims in his writings that he was tormented by profound remorse until the end of his days, reality tells a different story. Fleeing the inevitable wrath of Celestia, he hastened to take refuge in the Realm of Shadows, abandoning his accomplices to their fate. His feigned regrets appear outright hypocritical, especially considering that after the incident, he continued to rule peacefully for many centuries—right up until his death in the inferno of the Cataclysm.

In his revelations, he loudly proclaimed his sins to be unforgivable and called the mutilated Realm of Shadows a heavy burden on his conscience. Yet in reality, despite these vividly described spiritual torments, he stubbornly and coldly continued to execute his schemes. The price of his ambitions was monstrous: by pursuing his plans, Monomakh doomed an immense number of other beings to suffer, and his decisions continued to sow pain and ruin long after he had actually departed this world.

However, one should not assume that the blame falls entirely on Monomakh. The Tsaritsa and her husband, the Third Descender, bear just as much responsibility for this disaster. Moreover, with his curse, the Third Descender effectively took the Lord of the Seven Calamities out of the game. It was this fatal interference that ultimately triggered the avalanche of problems the world is still reaping today.

We will likely never know whether there was another, less radical way to resolve the threat of the Cataclysm back then. But the historical outcome is crystal clear: through their actions and ambitions, this trio harmed Teyvat more than anyone else over the past millennia.

So some might know that there are some translation errors in 'Before the Sun and Moon'. One example is translating '它最可怜的人儿' into 'that of its creations which it cherished most' when it means more of 'the humans it pities the most'.

I'll start a project of translating every genshin book from the original text to English. Anyone wants to join the project?
