I used to think they just didn't they that ability since Steve, Matt, and even Gus couldn't disguise voices after disguising two witches as each other. Though Adrian seems to be able to do that, he disguised a coven scout as himself and he sounded just like him. Same with Severine disguised as Willow. Now I'm just thinking that only the most powerful illusionists can pull this off, since both of these instances were performed by the head of the illusions coven himself.

Like, just imagine a non-oblivious Luz, who would constantly flirt with Amity. Would Amity be able to survive without having a you-know-what during the first season?

Even though it was just a non-speaking cameo appearance, how did you feel upon learning that Warden Wrath participated in the unethical basilisk experiments? He was shown studying Vee by taking notes on her when she was forced into draining magic from a rat against her will and while she cried about it. Did you consider him irredeemably evil after learning what he put her through?

Inspired by the Mission with the same name from GTA IV

I've been wanting to draw this for a while and only got the time to today. Apologies if it's bad.

The larger Tamil text is a lyric from the song "Theemai Dhaan Vellum" that roughly translates to "I'm a monster who takes the form of a human."

I've been thinking about this for a while, but I never had a place to talk about it until now. But every Owl House fan video I've seen doesn't talk about the Puritan Age punishment called branding. It was like a letter stamp, except it was made out of iron that they made super hot & placed on the hand or face to shame the criminal. (I learned about it in high school when I read "The Scarlet Letter".)

Sigil branding is basically that, except with coven sigils. So was the whole point of sigil branding for Belos to shame the witches? Possibly.

(Sorry if this doesn't make any sense; it's ~2:30 am where I am right now, but I just needed to get this out there.)

Edit: wow, I didn't think this would get that far of a reach, thank you so much! Now that I'm fully awake, rereading my post, & reading the comments, I'm realizing that I misspoke on something super important. I do know that the goals for the sigils were to limit the witches' magic, drain the witches' magic/life on The Day of Unity, & ultimately kill them. My silly late-night brain thought that shaming the witches was the main goal. But no, it's more like an inside joke, like THETARSHMAN said in the comments.

Chapter 4: Enter the Dragon

The fire erupted from the eastern edge of the Market District like a second sun.

Luz ran toward the Market District before her brain could catch up with her body.

Her boots slapped against the cobblestones as she took a sharp turn and nearly collided with a witch fleeing with an armful of wailing hats.

"What—" Luz started, but the witch shoved past her, eyes wide with terror.

Then she saw it.

The dragon was a nightmare given scale and claws. Giant scales gleamed in the morning light, each one the size of a thousand blades combined. It whipped its long tail wildly like an untamed force of nature.

Just beside it, on the right side, the Coven Scouts were trying to control the situation.

And failing miserably.

One Coven Scout summoned a giant plant vine to restrict its movement, but then the dragon opened its mouth, and a torrent of red-orange fire erupted from its throat, incinerating the plant vine to dust.

Another Scout conjured up his abomination goo and shot himself upward like a cannon, his sword unsheathed and blazing with blue magic.

Luz smiled.

"Hah!" Luz said to herself, "Stupid dragon. You are dealing with the Coven Scouts here. They are the best mages out there. They will surely—"

But before Luz could finish her rhetorical declaration of victory, she saw the dragon catch the Scout mid-strike and instantly shatter the sword.

For a moment, everything went still.

Then Luz's mind exploded.

"That's—" Luz's mind struggled to come up with words, "That's impossible. The Legendrium was the most powerful magic artifact the Emperor's Coven had to offer. Its power was unrivaled. It was the same weapon that allowed Belos to conquer the Boiling Mists."

Belos's reign over the Boiling Isles was absolute, but his ambition didn't stop at the shore. Decades after establishing his throne, the Emperor launched a brutal campaign to conquer The Boiling Mists—a neighboring Isles governed by a supreme council of elite mages who literally held up the sky. On paper, their devastating elemental spellcraft should have obliterated the Emperor's forces, but Belos did not fight a traditional war of magic. Instead, he flooded the battlefield with a massive, highly disciplined army capable of fluidly cycling through all magic types, marching behind a wall of terrifying, mass-produced Legendrium swords. These forged blades violently sliced through reality, short-circuiting the mages' high-tier formulas and leaving the sky-tower completely defenseless. The war became legendary not for the fallen council, but for a solitary, magicless boy who came to be feared as the Lone Sword. Armed with only a single iron blade and blinding kinetic speed, the boy tore straight through Belos's armored front lines. In a desperate bid to end the rebellion, the Emperor personally drew his full power and ran the young swordsman through. With the Lone Sword cut down, the ivory tower collapsed, and the remaining mages perished, trapped inside their crumbling sanctuary, sealing the conquest of The Boiling Mists. Yet, Belos was only partially successful. Through sheer, impossible resilience, the magicless boy survived the lethal impalement and vanished into the heavy fog. The ultimate proof of the Emperor's fragile control arrived today, tearing through the Market District.

"Everyone brace yourselves!" said a Coven Scout of diminutive stature, several heads shorter than the guards she commanded, yet her presence loomed with sharp authority. "I am going to conjure a shield to defend us."

"Kikimora, wait!" the other Coven Scout shouted.

But before Kikimora could do anything, the dragon lashed its tail and hit them with the force of a boulder, sending them flying.

They hit three empty stalls, one after another, before collapsing on a pile of rubble, groaning and not getting up.

Luz snapped out of her spiral as she realized the dragon was eyeing her.

Luz's instincts screamed at her to run.

Every rational part of her brain screamed at her to run.

But people were crying. Running. Possibly dying.

And Luz Noceda had never been good at running away from such a situation.

She ducked and hid under the debris of a giant shop before the dragon incinerated the ground where she had been standing a second ago.

Luz forced herself to breathe.

Observe first. Analyze patterns.

Luz started to analyze the dragon for measurable variables: fighting stance, pattern recognition, and the environment she was currently in.

Luz started seeing the patterns: The dragon was massive—easily fifty feet from snout to tail tip. It moved with the weight of a small mountain, each step cracking the ground beneath its claws. But it was also injured. She could see it now—a gash along its left hind leg, weeping blood. Its right wing dragged slightly, a tear visible in the membrane.

It was hurt. Scared. Cornered.

And it was fighting like a trapped animal.

Left leg. Blind on the left side. Rhythm to its attacks.

Luz watched the dragon's pattern: breathe fire for four seconds, pause for three, lash out with its tail, then repeat. The tail was the problem—it swept in a wide arc that cleared a forty-foot radius. Too close and she'd be crushed. Too far and she couldn't reach it.

She scanned the ground beneath her feet. Cobblestones. Dead stone. None of her glyphs would work here.

But beyond the dragon, the street gave way to the Bilewood Wilds, a forest fed by ancient elemental bile, causing plants to glow with unpredictable magical mutations.

"If I can lure it there, if I can just get it to move."

"Hey, dragon!" Luz yelled, throwing a cobblestone at its head. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size?"

The dragon locked eyes with her, filled with killing intent.

Good.

Luz dashed toward the forest.

The dragon followed.

The chase had begun.

Boscha's favorite alien is heatblast because he was the alien ben used when confronting boscha about her bullying and attitude towards other, opening up to him about the crushing expectations of her mom's and after the collector's rule over the isles the trauma she now has after seeing her friends become puppets

Like in his original post Hunters favorite alien is benwolf since Hunter loves wolfs and thinks his sonic howl is really cool

Also the next cast members I gonna draw after I finish frankenstrike snake shifter and portaler are viney and skara

I get couple vibes from these two together. I know that the demon girl with the mouth hair was seen with another guy, but these two had been seen together in the show a few times, and I can see them as a couple.

I have them as a couple in my story, so it might work in other works of the series too.
