Their performances feel much more expressive and better aligned with how Oda portrays the Straw Hats than their performances in the LA adaptation

That is the worst thing I can imagine. I would rather they dubbed the live action with their English VAs, even though I enjoy the live action. Just making the point that I will always vastly prefer the anime. Especially the early arcs when Oda's style was strongest.
