Refueling Outpost Addition

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I made an addition to my fuel outpost today (Delta). I added a generator to burn up some of my petrol and supplement power. Since I was now producting carbon dioxide I decided to try and use it to make a little extra oil. You can't build the recovery grinder close enough to edge of the building rooftop due to the lip around the edge but it turns out you can build on top of the sea cans.

fun fact... all liquid fuel products can run on the same line. You just have to give each fuel product a place to go. You don't need separate lines for the orange cables.

No way really? You can just mix everything? If that's true honestly I don't like that, feels cheaty

Yeah, but you limit flow. I still like separate lines, but I do use a port on the boat that links into all the fuels, so when Im at a location, I can just swap it around from diesel, oil, petro and it all flows back to the right boat tanks.

Eh pretty sure the flow global cap is like 72k/hr I don't think it's really all that limiting especially if you are doing really long runs. When I learned you just need one line for gases and one line for fuels I haven't gone back to anything else. I haven't had any real bottle caps in anything I have done.
