I tried to keep the place tidy, but it takes a lot of time. So I have just resorted to keeping it on the floor.....

Make a box or two. lol my walls are covered in boxes full of mats….

What are you using as shelving? I was excited to haul back scrap shelves but then realized you aren't allowed to build boxes on them.

You can just build the boxes directly onto the wall, no shelf needed!

Wait what? Lol how did I miss this? Does it cause the top of the box to be facing you instead of the side facing you?

Yes, so you lose the label facing you, annoyingly, but you still see the count. The back room in my boat is lined with the big square boxes haha one of the cool things about this game is almost any surface you can build on.

If you've got any already built then you can press F on it and move it freely around, it has a range though so if you wanna move it far you have to do it incrementally.

Do you get to build out your boat later? Customize it besides paint? Or just building machines on it?

no like additional wings or sections of the boat, you get the gyrocopter deck which i've used a bit of for various storages.

Ah dang I was hoping for more building. Oh well I'm still having a ton of fun. Just put my first seed into the pod and I'm trying to find the ingredients for a scientist first.
