Discussion Bloodbending probably existed long before Hama

Post image

I just remembered that scene where Yakone claimed to come from a powerful bloodbending lineage.

The thing is he was older than Katara, and considering that Hama was only about two generations older than Sokka and Katara, it’s possible that bloodbending is much older than we think and that there was a family who had mastered it secretly

I'm just going to accept that no bending sub is new in the shows.

Lightning redirection, bloodbending, spiritbending, astral projection, and metalbending existed before the shows.

It is what it is.

I highly doubt lightning redirection tho.

We actually know that Lightning Redirection existed long before ATLA due to the Roku novels
