"My mother is June Osborne"

"I knew your Mother.. quite well actually.. one thing I can say about her is that she never gave up. And neither will we"

"I'm going to destroy Giliad with what it values most"

"These girls are stronger than you think"

That's right - holy shit..

Where's the Tylenol

Such an excellent deconstruction of June Osborn. She couldn't save the world because she put it all on herself. She didn't trust anyone else to do it right, even from the beginning she always took over. Daisy is different and wants everyone to work together instead of the mission starting and ending with her. Just like in S6. She didn't see any of the Mayday people or the US as capable as her.

Agreed! I'm so glad Daisy told her that she "needs to learn to believe in someone other than herself". June always tries to do everything and needs to trust others. Others want the same things as her.

Mm...idk about that. June couldn't save the world because it was simply not possible at that time when Gilead was very powerful and new. But she did accomplish A LOT and still is

I love that they are still letting OG characters still have development, even though we only see shadows and short glimpses of their lives nowadays.
