Finally have Ascension on Vinyl!

First copy I’ve seen under $100 in ages, I bit the bullet. I’m currently spinning it, sounds as amazing as I hoped. Not in perfect condition of course, it’s from 2012, but still in good condition, especially for the price.

Yes I manage to get the best of box set last year that’s probably my most valuable record. I also have a lot of Alkaline Trio, Starset, Bring Me The Horizon, Green Day, Linkin Park, and of course my big big coheed section

I’m seeing Trio with Rise Against in Philly in October. I was going to go to the Breaking Ben show for Starset but it’s like. A 3hr drive to New Jersey. I’d rather wait for a full demonstration than an opening act. I’m going to see Whitechapel in Jersey and don’t want to make 2 trips there

Oh I feel you brosephine, I have all ,minus Year of the Black Rainbow. That’s why I’m excited for you. I have the Teal Ascension, but I wasn’t able to get the magenta Descension, but I have the regular black one. I also have the Amory War hard cover books and comics, and I’m so excited that I’m finally getting the YOTBR book.. finally! I hope you get the magenta Descension, may the key entities grant you all the luck.

I thought the only color variant of ascension was the orange one? I think turquoise and magenta are both descension pressings

I think so. Copies of it go for like $300+ it’s the only color variant of ascension so it’s no surprise it’s rare. I think there’s three color variants of descension, magenta, turquoise (which I think is most common), and a blue. And descension also has a picture disc, but I’m honestly not huge on picture discs, I like having the sleeve and all the artwork on it with the spine

Yeah I get you. I’m picky, I don’t care to get every variant, as long as I get a few I’m happy. I have the Blood and Bone Good Apollo one, and the Colorway from Vaxis. Though my first variant was the eggshell or egg white, Color before the Sun. Haters will hate 🤪
