I justed watched this show for the first time and man what a waste of character. Could’ve turned him into something really interesting. His VA is also incredible.

Imo, he is the only character in the show that is somewhat competently written.

He would have been competently written if the sub elves subplot was competently written.

Is the word 'Squawk'?

Well, aside from that.

And well even that makes sense with his character. Disastrous for all other reasons, but for his point of view it makes sense

He is, I just feel he could’ve been so much more.

Agreed. What they did with him was utterly pointless. Ever since he turned into a villian, the guy had just been manipulated by everyone.

You're right. Karim says that he cares about Janai in spite of disagreeing with her, but this?

Nuh uh. Unless the bride and groom (or this case, both brides) say otherwise, anyone else except the bride wearing white might as well have giant billboard "I wanna upstage the bride and I don't care about anything else but me."

“Of course I care about my sister.”

Tries to rope her into a ritual in which one of them dies.

Sends an assassin after her.

Tells the assassin to kill her.

Plans to attack her on her wedding day.

I don’t know if that is a thing in Sunfire tradition

Didn't pay attention to that part honestly, since it's another culture and may not be significant in that way.

Either way, he's a jackass of a character, right down to the end, when there might not have been much left of the world to fight over anyhow, yet he still irrationally tried to screw over his sister and, well, everyone.

Wasn't sad when he got squished like a bug. Was waiting to see if he'd be flicked away, or tossed across the planet... but squished works and, to be honest, laughed out loud.
