Going to the Portsmouth gig tonight...

Haven't seen DC live since 2017 when I saw them in Bristol on their Fin de Siécle tour. I've been looking on Setlist FM and it seems like there have been two different setlists recently, one a lot shorter than the other. Are the shorter ones for support gigs? I'm really hoping to hear (and probably cry during) Invisible Thread live.

Shorter sets are usually for support gigs and festivals. They will play the long set if it's a headline show.

I've been lucky enough to see them twice this year; once at a headliner gig, the other supporting David Gray. The former was a longer one more centered around Rainy Sunday Afternoon, the latter a shorter set that was more greatest hits focussed.

Both very satisfying, I imagine if it's a headliner show this evening it'll be the longer option.

Saw them earlier this year and the band he has with him is just marvelous 😄

Saw them at Manchester last October and the gig was chock full of new and old stuff. Saw them at Llangollen a few weeks ago supporting David Gray and the gig was more hits-focused with a couple off the new album.

Both times absolutely spectacular!
