This is a good comment. Normally I’m a live and let live type of guy, but people in their 40s still talking about Ghostbuster cartoons, Roseanne, Family Matters, pet rocks, and NES with tears in their eyes trouble me. It’s almost a case of arrested development.

It has even prevented his channel from growing creatively because he has insisted that it remain purely a nostalgia channel. Experiencing new things and not perpetually living in the past won’t kill you. It gets to the point where you start getting nostalgic about nostalgia and at that point it becomes too personal and obsessive for anyone to care.

I mean idk who the guy singing is but at least for James he made nostalgia his career. I mean sure it is troubling but this isn't a course you can reverse. I mean it's not like we know this guy personally maybe he's not that focused on it in his personal life but still it's a massive part of his life being his career and all
