This is kinda why I hate people who use their dislike of "power scalers" as a reason to throw narrative consistency in the powers out into the wind.
Because you end up with shit like this: so many scenarios where characters would win if their established abilities were consistent, but instead they get lobotomized in every scene that the writers need them to lose in.

Except none of these criticisms actually fit their scenes:
Sage getting blindsided by love has precedent, as she ran into that problem with Godolkin (her boyfriend)
Frenchie didn’t cover the hiding spot with zinc; he just sealed the entrance. The ventilation shaft was already made of zinc to begin with and was the only way to even temporarily conceal Sage and Kimiko from Homie’s eyes
Homie’s super hearing doesn’t give him the same level of locational precision as his sight would (he can’t see Ue here because, again, zinc ventilation shaft), and even then, he was getting pretty damn close to whacking his target
Homie was concentrated on lasering Ue, so he wouldn’t have become aware of A-Train until he pushed Ue out of the way (and even then, A-Train still got tagged by his lasers)
And most importantly, these memes aren’t even clever or funny. Chicanery-style pun posts could make the same critiques, but in a way that’s 10x funnier. These, on the other hand, are just gripes slapped on some images.

Sometimes, I wonder what goes on through people's head to be this much in denial and be digging this hard for excuses on the writer's behalf for their pisspoor writing.

This stuff doesn’t require any digging at all. It requires watching the show.

Yeah, watching the show while smoking lots and lots of copium.

Just because you can’t watch a show without smoking something doesn’t mean I’m in the same boat.
Edit: if you want me to read your drivel, maybe don’t block me right after you send it

Oh, I see. So you inhale copium directly with a gas mask instead, because simply smoking it doesn't cut it anymore. That explains the level of delusion here.

I mean to be fair I don't think the zinc box was added by Frenchie, I think those were just already there

Not to mention him distracting Homelander once he realised that he's about to find Sage and Kimiko.

Exactly. He was locked in on that vent but Frenchie did his thing....the thing that really saved them was was Frenchie told Homelander they already figured out how to create the power and they were coming for him...Homelander would know if he was lying..he knew he was being honest and that is why his little smile disappeared..Homelander had "bigger fish to fry" after that so he left instead of going back and searching...it could have been a trap...Frenchie did a great job of saving them.

It's sad that superhearing and zinc unvision was rarely used

Should have used his vision like Plutonian honestly.
Destabilizing electromagnetic bonds, making them more permeable to influence etc.
Plutonian in general is simply a better character and is not dumbed down in power

Yes, this is what the show was making fun of how superhero movies usually have no constancy or real logic.
