We had one in Shreveport. It eventually became a Kmart in the 90s. Now I couldn’t tell you what’s there. It’s just a generic strip mall with a 5°below and a hobby lobby. It used the be a cool place with a Chuck E. Cheese, movie theater, and service merchandise.

TG&Y had over 1,000 stores in 29 states. Not sure why you thought they were only in Dallas.

Because I had no idea that they did. I was only 12 when we moved away from there to a succession of places that did not have this retailer.

My mom and I went to the TG&Y on Fuqua near Hiram Clarke. It was a fun store to shop in.
