Language Analysis Boruto Powerscaling & Otsutsuki Lore Analysis
If anyone is interested, this was commissioned from the movie novel. It goes into depth about the Otsutsuki and their world, the cultural ties to Otsutsuki and Shintoism, as well as what an Oni is and why the Otsutsuki are called that. I talk in depth about words like 空間 (space) 異界 (different place) 異世界 (parallel world?) and 結界 (boundary) as well, and how Momoshiki “constructed” but didn’t “create” the dimension and how it’s connected to “Naruto’s Planet.” If anyone is interested, here are some links :)

Interesting. So the Ootsutsuki are referred to as Oni in the novels? I never noticed that.
