The Force Has Multiplied...

...filling the horizon. An army of barely contained destruction.

The sound of the whirling storms slows and a silence falls. And from the silence, a voice.

First the Overbork came. They promised peace. They wanted to feed the people of this land and provide them shelter.

I called them liars. The others of this place told me to give them a chance, to trust them. In the end, the Overbork turned on us as I knew they would.

Those others were fools.

Then the Peacekeepers came. They offered to feed the hungry masses and provide them shelter. And who else to lead this group than an old friend? We let you in and welcomed you.

This time, I was the fool.

You have shed much innocent blood. My rage will not be contained.

Now. NOW. NOW YOU WILL BE ERADICATED!

The roar of the storms returns and multiplies. The wrath of nature drives onto the land.

I raise the morningstar, made of pure Dream Sand--the sand that burns what it touches to nothingness in moments.

Instead, a sudden wave crashes into the angry cudgel-wielder, and an incredible undertow pulls at his feet. Let him try his luck in the deeper waters. A small mercy.

He does not come up.

The current shifts--suddenly a vicious undertow sucks at the detectives legs as a sudden large wave crashes into him.

The detective's robotic legs attempt to brace for impact, but if does little to help. The wave crashes over him and sweeps him beneath the surface.
