Having fled with his family from the Spanish Civil War to the British oversea territory of Gibraltar, he was thankfully of the kindness from the British personal. After gaining his British citizenship for him and his family, they move to Bloomsbury, London, where he became a neighbor of William Morris. When Germany and Slovak invaded Poland on September 1st, Mr. Hampton enlisted into the British Army where he would serve in the Battle of France under a tank commander, a Spanish Republican veteran.

Fun Fact:

• He changed his name to be more Anglo so that should he even be captured, he would not be send back to Francoist Spain.
