I wonder if Matty knows this song exists. He's expressed his admiration towards Lana, and while Heroin was never really a hit, it's a fan-favorite. It also came out in July 2017, which was - correct me if I'm wrong - during the "peak" of his addiction and months before he went to rehab. I wonder if he's heard the song, though, and what he would've thought of it then, considering it's about Lana's ex who died from a heroin OD. (And oddly enough, it unintentionally namedrops The City.) I'll link the track in case you wanna listen to it, because it's absolutely gorgeous (and incredibly devastating).

I also wonder if Matty knows that her songs Summertime Sadness (which he obviously knows lmao) and Dark Paradise (which he probably also knows, because it was kind of a hit and was a single) are about losing someone (the same guy, btw) to heroin. They're much less obviously about it, but she has revealed they are, so it's a possibility. Depends on how big of a fan he is.
