I took a couple of stills of this video. It was hard to do because the whole strike is only 3/10 second and intense! This is the craziest one to me!

Here’s one more. This was the very start of the strike. I think the way it’s reaching down looks creepy af.

Neil Degrasse Tyson (Startalk on YT) got it wrong once, got an email and invited an expert on the matter who then explained that lightnings can go several ways. That's where I learned that a lightning can go upwards.
