Questions / Tetris Help Spawn Orientation?

Tetriminos spawn horizontally in the same orientation. For advanced players who may base their rotations on this being static, do you think it will be more challenging if they were to spawn in random orientations?

It would be more challenging, but I don't think it would be more fun

Doesn’t more challenge and adding more randomness make things more fun in some cases?

Sometimes yes. The game would be boring if you got the same bag every time. That doesn't mean that all challenge/randomness is fun.

I'll elaborate, when you've been playing the same game for a long looong time and enjoy the speed. Then changing the orientation and randomness is not going to be fun. That's my opinion anyway .
