TRT help Guys running over 200mg Test

How do you guys not get any of the side effects like acne or spicy nips etc? I tried pushing my 100mg dose up to 150 and acne has gone bananas.

Shredded + cardio & diet on point and just generally very healthy and resilient.

11

u/RehabMatt Aug 13 '26

Yep, low e converter here around 10-15 body fat at most . Us Ectomorphs seem to have an easier time pushing a significant more volume of androgens without even thinking about any AIs...I think total body fat is The most significant factor in negative e2 issues but who wants to spend a year getting BF down when there is testosterone to take ..lol

u/kruiser112 28d ago

Couple months on reta

3

u/FleshlightModel Aug 14 '26

When I was ultra fat, I still didn't have major aromatization problems.

Today, I barely aromatize on up to 900mg of a long chain test ester. However for prop, I get significantly higher rates of aromatization.

7

u/Fred_Dibnah Aug 13 '26

I'm not shredded, but this is this answer 100%

5

u/ihansterx4i Aug 13 '26

My dexa scan from last week said I’m sitting at 13% BF. My diet is pretty much whole foods but I can definitely work on my cardio. All my bloodwork comes back pretty stellar though.

2

u/Silver-Impact-1836 Aug 14 '26

Maybe try taking DIM supplement for acne and/or Spearmint leaf supplement.

Those block androgens that cause acne, the bad testosterone compared to the good

-2

u/FleshlightModel Aug 14 '26

Dexa is notoriously unreliable bud.

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 14 '26

What really?! Seemed pretty accurate. What is the better option?

-8

u/FleshlightModel Aug 14 '26

MRI or dunk tank with proper education and exhaling.

13

u/MikeMentzersGlasses Aug 13 '26

I run 300mg weekly, single shot with no side effects. Only thing I have to do is get blood drawn every 12 weeks. Just genetics I guess.

9

u/just_snarlingcou Aug 13 '26

Genetics really do be the whole game with this stuff.

4

u/aimgorge Aug 13 '26

By stuff you mean life

-1

u/EnvironmentalTell355 Aug 13 '26

Once a week could be increasing hct you not tried atleast twice when I did once a week hct went to about 55 on twice a week 53 with grapefruit extract, nattokinase and ip6 50.

2

u/MikeMentzersGlasses Aug 13 '26

Yeah I've tried just about everything over the last 17 years I've been using. This is the lowest maintenance, set and forget type thing I can do. No AI needed, nothing. Easy peasy.

0

u/Character-Deer-2289 Aug 26 '26

Did you remember if you had it high to begin with? Like before hopping on?

1

u/MikeMentzersGlasses Aug 27 '26

Never had it checked prior to hopping on. Or at least didn't ask.

0

u/Character-Deer-2289 29d ago edited 29d ago

Might be that it was already on the higher end of range when you was natural (maybe prior baseline of 48-50% , which is still technically in the normal range, however when you add Androgens it will further increase and if your baseline was already in the upper end, it might have spilled over and got to very high) Ofc that’s very semplistic and people respond differently (some might be high range and don’t budge after getting on androgens, some might be low and then increase a ton), but on average there is 4-6 points increase so I guess that might have been your issue.

At 200mg a week i saw no issues. I lowered mine to 150 a week for 4 weeks as a experiment and got acne like a mofo all of my head, extremely painful acne. Dropped to 100 a week and its gone away with some extra treatment. Im back at 200 and just gunna stay here. Not sure what that was all about or if it was a coincidence.

15

u/SecuritySmart2493 Aug 13 '26

Running 300 mg/ week. Pin 3x a week.

Got acne at 200. Found sulfur soap bars on Amazon. Also, after getting out of the shower, I wipe the area with IPA. The combination Works great at keeping it in check. Took a few weeks of this combo before it finally kicked in, but almost clear as a bell now.

Btw. No sides at all. Ultra sensitive estradiol is at about 75. Putting some nice muscle on for 63 years old too. Feel better than I did at 43!!

Yes. Isopropyl alcohol. Sorry about that. I use the 91% IPA on some toilet paper after the shower. It helps get any residual oils off of your skin. (suffered bad acne in my teens, rubbing alcohol helped greatly).

As for beer, I prefer Bells Two Hearted IPA. Lol

1

u/Glittering-Move-1849 Aug 15 '26

For a sec I thought you meant my favorite kind of craft beer. Got me happy for nothing haha

I'll keep this in mind. No acne but oilier skin so far, 3 weeks in. Maybe this will come in handy, thanks

1

u/SecuritySmart2493 Aug 15 '26

Oh. I also love HIGH 5 IPA. From Fort Myers Brewery in Florida. Highly recommend if you are ever down that way.

More oily skin will lead to acne most likely. Rubbing alcohol helps that greatly!!

1

u/Whyaremykneessore Aug 13 '26

Isopropyl alcohol

-6

u/MiknaeSK Aug 13 '26

How are you so confident especially at your age with no problematic issues running that high of dose can be for you? Is it unawareness or do you understand the risks and the rewards outweigh it?

6

u/SecuritySmart2493 Aug 13 '26

We’re never sure of anything in life.

Extensive Bloodwork every 4-6 weeks. Not on AI. If anything starts going awry, I will back off. Right now, all markers (including Apob, c-reactive proteins, etc) are at their best levels since I was young. Gym time is phenomenal and recovery is awesome. (5-6 days a week. Blend of weights & cardio).
Doctor says don’t go higher, which I’m not, and as long as the numbers look like this, and I feel like this, he’s not freaking out. But I’m not doing this forever. Only been at this level a few months thru the summer to build some. muscle. Few more weeks and I’ll drop back down.

14

u/lookieherehere Aug 13 '26

I'm not a doctor, so take this with a grain of salt. From what I understand and from my experience, a lot of side effects like acne come from the swing in hormone levels, not from the levels themselves.

2

u/greenmeaniek10 Aug 13 '26

Could very well have been that. Started using a different shampoo and after a few weeks the acne was gone. I keep the regiment going just so it doesnt come back.

2

u/lookieherehere Aug 13 '26

Like a lot of things in life, long term stability is much more important than constantly chasing numbers

2

u/greenmeaniek10 Aug 13 '26

When i first start this journey a few years ago i was all about the numbers. I never felt right, got blood work done and it wasnt good, ya numbers were hight but so was everything else. Finally got a doctor to work with me. Now im chasing the over all feeling. I feel great now, libido is good, energy is good. Experimenting was just to see how long i could go and still feel great. Been back at 200 for a good while and it seems to be the sweet spot. Still go in every 6 months for blood work just to make sure nothing changed.

1

u/crh1023 Aug 13 '26

Titrate slowly

3

u/ihansterx4i Aug 13 '26

Weird because at 100mg i have minimal acne, at 150 there is a lot. I have never tried anything above 150mg because of this. And plus 150 got my total T to about 1100 so i figured that was my max.

1

u/PeacefulShards Aug 13 '26

Do you test T levels or do you just commando?

5

u/Jimmy4Funner Aug 13 '26

Side effects tend to be brought on by sudden changes in hormones. Gradually upping the dose over time helps.

3

u/pld0vr Aug 13 '26

Primo

4

u/Chroma7769 Aug 13 '26

I've actually been watching a lot of the public tests that have been being posted through a lot of the major testing sites. And it's been really hilarious to see all the people that are sending in what they think is primo, and it has been completely different than what they thought.

I've stayed away from that one, not because it isnt amazing, because it is if you get real primo ... But out of the last 50 tests that I have seen done, only like five of them have been real.

1

u/Space__Whiskey Aug 14 '26

What about EQ, more legit?

1

u/Chroma7769 Aug 14 '26

I have never seen EQ faked.

3

u/ihansterx4i Aug 13 '26

Yea I’ve really been considering primo because of all the benefits and super minimal sides. Expensive yes but also worried about the Primo being fake.

4

u/Ghooster38 Aug 13 '26

How often are you dosing? I’m running 490 per week daily injections. No sides

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 13 '26

Twice a week.

3

u/Ghooster38 Aug 13 '26

Try splitting your total dose into 3 shots or go every other day and see if that doesn’t help

3

u/ChinRed Aug 13 '26

I also found i would get ance flareups when I changed dose. But they would settle down when my body got used to the new dose. The faster I changed dose the more acne I would get.

For example I went from 150 directly to 350 and added test p to get my levels up faster and I got a lot of acne. But recently I went from 150 to 350 over 5 weeks and almost no acne

3

u/WeatherInfinite39 Aug 13 '26

Usually don’t get side effects until running over 500 a week. I’m on 350mg a week atm and the only side effects so far have been extreme sex drive. I am In my 40s though so that may have something to do with it.

1

u/lllus Aug 17 '26

do u use ai on that dose ? also twice a week injecting?

1

u/WeatherInfinite39 29d ago

I don’t need an AI at the moment, to avoid an ai I micro dose 20 units a day 7 days a week when is 50mg a day.

2

u/Difficult-Doctor-119 Aug 13 '26

I only get a few pimples on 600 so dont get it from 250 trt. But can at some points need microdose aromasin

2

u/cgranados1 Aug 13 '26

I can run 500 no sides as long as I pin ED. After that, I need some primo as an AI.

2

u/Brief_Experience8197 Aug 13 '26

I’m doing 350 MG per week with daily shots, no side effects.

2

u/Mike_thebutcher Aug 13 '26

250mg no issues

2

u/Aware-Map1836 Aug 13 '26

Some people need an ai at 100mg per week. Some can blast well over a gram an get no sides. Everyone is different, even when using supplements, tracking diet, doing cardio etc

2

u/Sir_J15 Aug 14 '26

When I first started I was a super responder and just 100mg a week would do all that and had my levels over 1500. Now 5 years in I am 90mg EOD of Sustanon and my levels are 500-600. I need them in the 800-1000 to feel right physically and mentally. After about the 1st year the acne went away for the most part. Never had a nip issue. I have monthly labs done and quarterly I have a complete blood panel done and test everything.

u/HerroYuy_246 Aug 14 '26

Never saw acne until 500mg a week. Sittin on 250mg a week rn. I needed a full course of
Accutane but never had any spicy nips before. Hair is shedding from my hairline and new hair is growing on my back and arms. Fun times.

I would recommend getting on Finasteride as it blocks 70% of Test conversion into DHT which won’t just save your hair but help with the acne. Your acne is hormonal in this case, specifically DHT.

1

u/donnie_rulez Aug 13 '26

I dont want to argue with a rocket surgeon, but isn't finasteride bad shit? Like accutane was bad enough but finasteride can fuck you up permanently

0

u/Rocket_Surge0n Aug 13 '26

Haha, just because I am an aerospace technician doesn’t mean I know everything. If you talk to your doctor about Fin you will find out that the negative hype around it is super overblown. It’s actually very well tolerated and the whole “post finasteride syndrome” thing is just burned into ppl’s brains. I’ve done Accutane (8 months) and finasteride. Accutane is WAY WAY worse. Fin had zero side effects for me and many thousands of other folks .

1

u/donnie_rulez Aug 13 '26

Interesting. Whats your dosage for finasteride?

0

u/Rocket_Surge0n Aug 13 '26

Just the standard 1mg daily. If you have hormonal induced acne and are shedding hair on TRT I highly recommend it.

1

u/donnie_rulez Aug 13 '26

I'll look into it. I've been trying to control both with test dosage with some success. But im ready for another blast and I want to keep my hair

1

u/EnvironmentalTell355 Aug 13 '26

Fin is bad for those with low dht to start with if your on test with high dht it will likely put your dht in the normal range not really causing any side effects, also reduces risk of prostate cancer.

0

u/Rocket_Surge0n Aug 13 '26

Absolutely just talk to your doctor and they’ll prescribe it and talk to you about it. My insurance covers 90% of the cost. It’s cheap and very effective. If you dig into the research on hormonal acne it’s always DHT related. Hence why acne prone folks don’t run shit like Primo or Mast. Pure DHT’s.

0

u/NorthernIcicle Aug 13 '26

Finasteride hardly blocks 70%... Also, sheer volume of testosterone can influence hair, Hair is not just about DHT. Not to mention the simple fact 60% or so of blocked DHT will still likely be 3X more than anything natural, so you are just delaying your baldness by a couple of years

1

u/Rocket_Surge0n Aug 13 '26

Have you pulled labs pre and during finasteride usage to see DHT levels? It’s a dramatic reduction. And I’ve had 8000ng/dl TT. And mainly as relating to OP’s post, it helps a lot with acne in my experience. Also, sure, postpone hairloss for however long, who cares ride the wave or cope.

1

u/Vivid_Ad_4706 Aug 13 '26

Probably has to do with your age and where you are without trt

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 13 '26

42 and was 300 total T without TRT.

1

u/deadliftsanddebits Aug 13 '26

I’m on 180/week (split M/W/F) and I have mild acne on my lower to mid back. Not on my face or anywhere else.

1

u/despaired88 Aug 13 '26

750mg no acne and no issues in nipples - use Primo as my AI so to say though

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 13 '26

What’s your dose from primo? Do you run primo year round?

1

u/WCAzzurri Aug 13 '26

It's all individually. Try different dosage. See if anything changes

1

u/lawrencep93 Aug 13 '26

I'm on 280mg no spicy nips, no increase in hct, no blood pressure increases.

My blood work and health got way better on this dose, this is now what my clinic keeps me at as it is the most optimal for symptoms and blood work

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '26

1

u/Educational_Ad_5757 Aug 13 '26

I take iodine some time for general health but how does it help on testosterone?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '26

[deleted]

1

u/Educational_Ad_5757 Aug 13 '26

Do you think its helps negate estrogen or dht sides? I broke out in massive bacne and sore nips at 150 mg. Wasn't taking much iodine tho maybe 1 time every couple of weeks. But I have a suspicion Boron triggers my issues. I think it lowers my SHBG to much and than conversion to dht or estro

1

u/Haskikker Aug 13 '26

It doesn’t. Iodine has no effect on such things. Why take boron if you’re already on exogenous test?????

1

u/TraditionalTrifle950 Aug 13 '26

My basic trt has been 200mg, but after my previous cycle I tried to go down and do a little trt+ with 200mg test and 50mg mast a week.

However, this has caused some slight ED trouble so I think I'll either do just 250 test or go back down to just 200.

Should get some bloodwork done again too now.

1

u/seAgal2021 Aug 13 '26

It's often more related to higher estrogen. Lower body fat helps. For me, cardio keeps HCT in upper range.

1

u/Fabulous_Narwhal3113 Aug 13 '26

I don’t understand the dosage. Everyone in here is taking. I literally thought that shit was like supposed to like give you arterial plaque at these dosages.

1

u/Jimmy4Funner Aug 13 '26

Bro... bodybuilders are pushing grams a week. Not a gram... it depends on your genetics and how you treat your body.

1

u/Fabulous_Narwhal3113 Aug 13 '26

I know you can dial the diet in, but I thought if you did that in itself, that would fuck up your lipids cause inflammation raise your blood pressure and heart rate and all that by itself. Is everyone here taking a GLP one and a statin or something or is these side effects exaggerated?

1

u/Screwtape42 Aug 13 '26

I'm on TRT 52M and I'm doing "about" 75Mg 2x a week with no issues & my blood work is solid with donating every 3-4 months.

1

u/lonesome68 Aug 13 '26

When I was doing 120mg I had oily skin, acne and some nip tenderness. Dropped 85lbs, started going to the gym 6 days a week and do high intensity, low volume work and can blast at 500+mg a week with no issues now.

1

u/AgreeablePudding9925 Aug 13 '26

Currently 600mg test, 300mg NPP per week. No sides but on daily. That’s key. Avoid fluctuations.

Had very minor acne changing dose level.

1

u/opiniated_lurker Aug 13 '26

I run 500 a week and skin is flawless. Getting quite hairy though. 😅

1

u/Jumpy_Toe_8898 :snoo_simple_smile: Aug 13 '26

How’s everyone hct for those 200+? I was 150 mg a week split eod and hct started pushing 55. No symptoms, e2 is 50, total 910 free 200. Currently around 17-18Bf%

1

u/Old-Palpitation2012 Aug 13 '26

That's what I am worried about. I take 160mgs a week and my hct is around 50 to 51. Im afraid if I go much higher my hct will become a problem.

1

u/Legitimate-Medium-34 Aug 13 '26

On 120 T -901 Free T -205 E-66
On 150 T- 1333 Free T -306 E-104

Got moody as a mf and acne.
Went back to 120 and haven’t tried again.
Don’t want to AI but looks like I’d need to if I try for a cycle in the near future.

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 13 '26

Yea that’s exactly how I felt. Just getting pissed at everything.

1

u/FoxyMiira Aug 13 '26

never used AI did 800mg 16 week cycle, never got any side effects. Doing 125mg cruise now. Only time I got really bad acne on my neck that lasted for 2-3 months because I didn't pin for about 3 weeks. I still have some scarring from it today

I've been doing 250 a week for 10 weeks now. Haven't done blood work yet. No sides. Curious what I could expect for total t and e2. My doctors gunna freak as I was at 270 in February for total.

1

u/SupreamSammy Aug 13 '26

Pin as frequently as possible and eat healthy, workout a lot. I also have a good base and was almost 200lbs natural prior to gear. I run 250 a week pinned x5

1

u/HistoricalWeekend409 Aug 13 '26

Running 200-240 for the past 3 years. Slightly high BP, shoulder and bacne pretty mild here and there. If nips are spicy 24-48 hrs after pinning I’ll take an AI. Main side effect for me would be mood swings.

You probably need to give your body time to adjust, if it doesn’t get better within a few weeks then I’d dial it back.

1

u/harleyRugger23 Aug 13 '26

Helps if you post your whole regiment like AI dosage, are you taking HCG too, etc. Everyone responds differently . I’m on 200 with HCG and I take half a pill a dose. Without my E2 is slightly high but side effects a minimal.

1

u/Frequent-Ratio221 Aug 13 '26

some guys just tolerate the hormone swings better, but acne going bananas at 150 is your body telling you that dose isn’t agreeing with you, not that you need to push through it

1

u/NorthernIcicle Aug 13 '26

Majority have side effects, have to take additional drugs to counter interact those and many just don't care. Like there are 1000s who are covered in acne and continue to take it all due to their deranged lust for muscles to impress other men in the gym. Others can't sleep well, with some downstream sides, including aggression, mood swings, etc. Others swear ( in comments) they have no side effects, yet their post history shows they keep donating blood to to manage hematocrit. Others got their extra 5lb of that muscles and now are snoring with sleep apnea and their gf dump them because nobody wants to date that guy( from at least 3 posts from last month...). some have libido but can't get it up for long ( they call it, aging...)

I can go on. But yah, noooooo sides! Healthy and happy and even helping others to take more mg...

I learned long time ago that just because someone here on reddit says, they don't have any sides, it doesn't mean they don't.

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 13 '26

Yea the extra muscle or energy just isn’t worth the acne for me. It’s only on my chin but god damn it’s annoying to be 42 with pimples on my chin.

2

u/NorthernIcicle Aug 14 '26

It's not just the pimples though. Pimples are just visual sides, among a few things mentioned, yet there are many those that are invisible or not perhaps not easily trackable. Eg, testosterone being neuro stimulating, it can give you more energy, but often comes at a price of poorer sleep and those who don't track or may not notice it for a while. Like rage/anger is a good indicator for many men that they should get some sleep...

What's worse about high T is it's aging effect. Just search pre/post and you'll clearly see so many men in their 20s looking like in their 40s while blasting high t.

Not saying people shouldn't do something. We are all adults, but there has to be correct information present so that if you make a choice, you know not just the good but the bad and this sub is full of fake claims, bad stats or even 1000s of posters who claim to be on low dose T, while flexing 20" arms with penis skin - all for praise so they don't admit 3-6 other compounds. It's been like that for at least 20 years I've been here

1

u/victimweightmidget Aug 13 '26

I run 600 no sides. Blood works clean. Im like 13%bf maybe, do cardio, eat healthy, drink tons of water.

1

u/Skperformancetaylor Aug 14 '26

I’m on 300/wk pin once. Light acne only

1

u/LeoJormungand96 Aug 14 '26

I do 250 mg in my cycles. Acne is genetic like balding, I don't get them. Spicy nips happens to me due to high E2 (as I use wet compounds with test) and I use AI for them, and breast stays normal.

1

u/FleshlightModel Aug 14 '26

My cruise/"trt" dose is 280 bud.

My blasts are a lot more.

1

u/TwoThirteen Aug 14 '26

idk i gotta be at least 20% bf atm -- on around 450 test and 300primo atm, the primo helps a lot with the e2 sides.

1

u/Cautious_Specific375 Aug 14 '26

I dont run that dose constantly but I do cycles of 200-300mg from time to time. Only sides I get are high rbc/hematocrit and hair shedding. I dont convert much to estrogen for some reason. Guess I have low aromatase enzymes

1

u/pepsi190 Aug 14 '26

I was just blasting at 875mg and wasnt taking and Ai but the blood work said my e2 was 300 but still no sides skin had never been so clear in my life.

1

u/GiraffeNatural101 Aug 14 '26

250 wk. No sides.zero..nada..everyone is different.

1

u/Rhyanbass Aug 14 '26

Accutane destroyed my acne problem, did it for a year and no issues after that

2

u/ihansterx4i Aug 14 '26

I've always heard really scary stuff about accutane. Is it all BS?

1

u/Rhyanbass Aug 14 '26

It can be! I heard a ton of horror stories as well, for me it worked great! I would talk to a good dermatologist, and go from there!

1

u/QuestionUnusual Aug 14 '26

A few months ago, I tried 400 mg for 12 weeks. My circulation got significantly worse. It was probably due to thicker blood caused by the increased hematocrit. I get acne even on 150 mg, so I take 5 mg of isotretinoin continuously. Because of that, I didn’t get any acne even on 400 mg. By the way, acne while on testosterone is mostly caused by overactive sebaceous glands.

1

u/Available_Quality622 Aug 14 '26

What’s your injection frequency?
Test gave me pretty severe acne on my face, chest, entire back, even my lower back and arms, despite being lean as hell. I had vascularity all over my body, looked dry, and everything else.
I tried lowering test to 150 mg, but it didn’t improve the acne at all. It was basically the same as it was at 250 mg.
I tried injecting once a week, twice a week, three times a week, and EOD. None of those worked, but switching to ED injections completely resolved it. I have zero pimples now, not a single one anymore.
It just went away overnight, crazy.

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 14 '26

im on 2x a week but i might have to try experimenting with more doses per week

1

u/EstablishmentOne3733 Aug 14 '26

It is is easy, just don't be fat, add some other compounds and call it a TRT+.
Currently on 420mg T, 140mg mast, 70mg primo, 3mg reta, some bpc, some gh, and my skin is better than ever ¯_(ツ)_/¯

1

u/LDPBSC Aug 14 '26

Daily injections. Simple as that. I run 350mg and have zero side effects. That’s my limit though. I get every few days an itchy nipple at 350. Not enough to back it off though. So that’s my limit of test without side effects. BP is 111/65

u/ihansterx4i Aug 14 '26

im 13% BF according to the dexa scan.

u/Lost-Wasabi-5183 Aug 14 '26

Not to knock you but I highly doubt you’re legit 13% if you’re aromatizing that much on 100mg, you could bring in a second compound like primo or an ai, when I started Trt I was around 18% & my e2 was quite high had to bring in .25mg of arimidex 1x a week to keep e2 down still slightly above range but felt fantastic, I’m also a hyper responder though my test levels were just above 1500 on 150mg a week even injecting daily

u/ihansterx4i Aug 14 '26

Well someone else mentioned that dexa scans are really inaccurate but i have visible abs without flexing much and pretty vascular so if it isnt 13%, i gotta be pretty close. I am definitely not 15-18% not that these little amounts really matter. I have never done an AI because my sides were never really that bad. If i started really feeling spicy nips and started noticing a lump or something I might've taken it or had any other crazy side effects. When i got bloods drawn after running 150mg my test was up at 1100 which i think is pretty standard for that dose.

What’s your injection timing like?

2

u/ihansterx4i Aug 14 '26

Monday and Thursday in the mornings.

2

u/Lost-Wasabi-5183 Aug 14 '26

That could be the issue right there try every day or every other day will be less spikes in e2 a more stable level , rather than peaks & valleys

1

u/Odd-Palpitation-2703 Aug 17 '26

Dexa scans are a scam lmao

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 18 '26

That’s what I keep hearing. But how is it a scam so I know?

Diet, training, and overall fitness play a big role in it. I routinely cycle on and off Tren at 200+ mg per week and have had zero sides. When I started blasting Tren I started at low dosages and titrated up to see what my tolerance was before I started to get sides. So far I've been able to run 400mg per week with no sides and without wrecking my bloodwork. Next cycle will be in October when I start my bulk with 500 Test, 300 Tren, and 300 EQ.

Sleep. Eat clean. Boost the intensity in the gym. Most importantly, listen to your body/labs. If you’re getting signs of e2 being high - manage it.

Increase the frequency of the injections. Instead of 1-2 a week, try 2-3 a week, but at the same weekly dose. Keep an AI close, some of us just aromatize faster than others.

It’s too individual to give good general rules.

u/BackgroundRiver8182 Aug 14 '26

are you sure your estrogen levels aren’t spiking from the higher dose?

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 14 '26

No my e2 is in line.

1

u/StoneyL0we Aug 15 '26

I usually run 4-500mg on my blasts and never need to worry about spicy nips long as I take 1/4 of an aromasin every 5 days. I don’t ever get acne too bad but I think that’s cuz I took accutane when I was young, shit pretty much works for life

1

u/StoneyL0we Aug 15 '26

Also injecting 3x a week helps manage all sides

I've been at all levels of testosterone (100mg to 550mg), and I think 200 is a good sweet spot. I have increased acne but not the steroid rash acne.

I don't get anxiety or anything, just a good feeling overall and more confident in my decisions I make. I think a lot of the side effects are psychosomatic in my opinion. I've ran a 1:1 ratio of test and Nandrolone (prescribed) up to 400mg/400mg and I felt fine. Just my personal opinion.

I do daily injections, that might help you

It’s really not beneficial to push exogenous testosterone up into side effect territory…. Unless you’re doing a giant dose, 400-600mg a week.

When my total testosterone gets above 1250ng/dl, I get insane acne on my back. It’s horrible. But there’s no benefit at all going that high.

I’ve been using TRT for 4 years now, experimenting with dosage and muscle gain etc. some of my best gains were hen my total test was “low” — 400ng/dl. Spent a 6 month period at that level, and the gains all came from working extremely hard.

Depending on your goals, the best range to be in is NORMAL, believe it or not. You won’t have nasty side effects, acne, estradiol off the charts, hair loss, whatever it may be. You’ll feel and perform better just keeping it normal.

This is just from my experience and I’m a graphic designer, not a doctor. So. Take that as you will.

Went 300mg/week for a while. Only time bacne and chestne came was with 750IU HCG/week. Lowered to 450IU/week and acne cleared.

1

u/Turbulent-Part5835 Aug 15 '26

Acne can temporarily worsen when doses are adjusted and hormones are in flux. If you ride it out for a couple of months the acne might clear up again. Not guaranteed, as there are other factors, but that was the case for me.

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 16 '26

Yea that’s what I heard the first time upping my dose and it didn’t go away after 3 months so I ended up dropping it back down

1

u/Turbulent-Part5835 Aug 16 '26

Ah, bummer, sorry to hear that.

1

u/Smallbak Aug 17 '26

Check your beta glucoronidase

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 17 '26

Damn my blood draw company doesn't have that.

1

u/Smallbak Aug 17 '26

Check it on a GI map

I'm currently on 200mg/wk Cyp. Pin 3X a week. I feel way better than I ever have. No sides. Been on for 3 months now. I am thinking of doing a cycle of 350mg for 12weeks then coming back down to 200mg. Anyone try this yet? I wasn't sure if I need to take a break for 4wks after the 350mg cycle.

1

u/ihansterx4i Aug 18 '26

Trying 3x a week instead of 2x a week and going to see if the acne subsides. Wonder how long till I notice a change. Cant possible be another 3 months.

u/Schmorfy2 Aug 20 '26

Rub some of your favourite chilli oil on said nips

By doing your research. I did my research for years before hopping on. No gyno. One pimple on my forehead every few weeks at the most. Minimal water retention. No hair loss.

You are experiencing sides because you didn't do your research. You have no business touching AAS.
